Dislaimer: I only wish I owned. Really really wish.
a/n: This first chapter is prompts from tonight's (November 21st) Drabble/Drawble Night in chat :)
Prompt: Voyage They had set upon their voyage but only three months ago. Already the crew were becoming antsy. Captain Sesshoumaru could be seen at night staring, ever constantly, towards what all hoped to be their new home. Where they came from was nothing but a barren wasteland. The humans had polluted it until nothing could survive. So he decided to let them sleep in the bed they had made. He took the remainders of his people and boarded the next ship off the cursed planet. Little did he know that a few of the humans had stowed away, knowing their fate should they stay on that planet. Prompt: Roast They were hiding in the bowels of the ship, scrunched amongst the vats of fuel, the engine, and the sewage tanks. It felt as if she was being broiled, much like a delicious beef roast. Her family, and some of her neighbors as well, had managed to slip onto the ship and hide away before it took off. Kagome was getting nauseous, her stomach never that strong to begin with. The putrid smells of their surroundings making her stomach lurch violently. She could barely eat, let alone keep much of it down. If they didn't get to their new home soon, she might not make it there alive. Prompt: Dish Finally arriving at their new home, Captain Sesshoumaru dished out orders to his soldiers. He wanted them to scout the continent they had landed on, and make sure that it would support them well for generations to come. He then turned to the women and children and told them to make sure all their belongings were packed and ready to be unloaded as soon as the area was deemed hospitable and safe. Late that evening, after everyone had been organized into a camp a small distance from the ship, a small group of humans could be seen slipping off into the night. Prompt: Carve The group of humans began to carve a path through the dense forest, hoping to put as much distance as possible between them and the ship they had been stuck on for almost a year. They were afraid if they didn't make haste, that they would be a feast for the beings at the camp. They were no longer in a place that had rules against killing another being. How could they be sure they wouldn't be sliced with those dangerous claws? Needless to say, none of them wanted to stick around to find out. Prompt: Warm The cold night was biting at them. They had very little supplies to keep them warm, so they huddled as close together as possible. They were having a hard time finding anything on this new world. Not only was anything edible scarce, but they couldn't even hunt. They were starting to feel as if maybe they would have been better off staying on the dead planet they left behind. At least there, they didn't have to freeze, or fear bumps in the night. At least not for another few years. But they could not go back. Prompt: Gratitude They couldn't believe they were doing so well on this foreign soil. They had not only survived here, but had flourished! To express their overwhelming gratitude to their esteemed Captain, they would be having a feast to end all feasts. They had already brought a whole herd of deer-like animals to the village they had created. Looking down at the big bonfire, the only remaining human watched, entranced by the sheer amount of food these beings were consuming. Her stomach growled fiercely as the smells wafted up to her hideout. She would wait until they all slept peacefully, then, and only then, would she steal into the village for some food. Prompt: Feast The village had gone quiet an hour ago, but Kagome wanted to play it safe. She waited another hour before she tip toed her way to where the leftovers of their feast were stored. She lifted up the lid of one of the boxes. It still smelled delicious, causing her to salivate. She proceed to stuff as much of the food as she could into her bag type carrier. She had made it from the scraps of clothing that the other survivors had left when they perished. He watched her from the shadows. He wondered how she had not only stowed away on his ship, but how she had survived so long with seemingly no supplies. Just as she was about to sneak away, he grabbed her roughly around her neck. Unofficial Prompt: Dessert Dagnabbit! Why did she have to just assume she could have her cake and eat it too? If she had only taken what she had needed for now, she may have not been caught. Now here she was with her neck in the vice grip of a very powerful demon. She believed her life to be forfeit. Any minute now he would tighten his hold, and snap her formally pretty neck. He could see it in her eyes. She thought he was going to kill her. He knew he should, it would be simple to just crush her neck and let her suffocate on her own blood. Not only would it end her pathetic life, but it would keep her from causing further problems in the future, if she survived long enough on her own to cause said problems. a/n: I have already been asked to continue this, and I promise to as long as my muse will allow it.
