Kagome stared at the crescent moon with the stars sparkling around it. Sakura blossoms in one hand as she waited for the wind to release the petals. Kagome slowly opened her hand that held the petals and released them into the wind hoping against hope that the western lord would come to her, “Be Swift” she said to the last petal that left her hand. The petals floated along on the light breeze that they were released on, floating softly towards the west.
On the first day of their journey a few petals lost their way landing in a small river floating down into the sea. The second day of their journey more petals were lost getting picked up on another breeze heading towards the ocean, while the rest of the petals kept going on the same breeze. On the third and final day there was only one petal left, it continued on its journey alone towards its destination.
A clawed hand caught the petal before it landed into the river and brought it up to is his powerful nose picking up the scent he was longing for. “Kagome” Sesshomaru said before leaving his garden with the last petal in his hand.
Sesshomaru ran all day before reaching his beloved. When he reached his destination he saw his beautiful prestress dressed in her finest kimono. He stared at her before making his presence known Sesshomaru then stepped out into the clearing taking a few short steps towards gathering her up in his strong arms giving her a passionate kiss.
