Found Only To Be Lost

There is this girl.

She has no proper home, nor a rightful name.

She goes to high school and goes by the name other people call her. She is all alone in this world. Her parents died and her grandparents don't acknowledge her existence. Since that which is supposed to be her family, never talks to her.

One day, as she was walking to church, the only place she felt gave her life meaning, she saw a boy. This boy was unlike any boy she had ever seen. In her school, everyone was good-looking. Everyone, except for her. He wasn't stuck up like the either. He was just, normal.

As the months went by, she began to fall in love with him. He was the only person who had ever been kind to her. One day, she got up the courage to express her undying love to him. That day, she asked to speak to him privately, behind the school gym. When she told him, he merely smiled. He didn't answer, didn't grimace, didn't laugh; just smiled. Then he told her, "Thank you. For once in my life, I have been shown kindness. You are the first person ever to do so." He hugged her and accepted her confession. This was the same for her.

That moment, they promised to love each other for the rest of their lives. She had not seen the boy after that day.

Lost in a deep depression, she tried to commit suicide. When she was taken to the hospital, she got a roommate. She never knew who it was till one day, their nurse walked in and pulled the curtain. They were both in intensive care, for both of their bodies were not healing properly without any particular reason. After her and her roommate saw each other, they began to cry. The boy and the girl were reunited.

As weak as they were, the gathered all their strength. They walked to the center of their room and hugged each other tightly. Only moments later, they both passed away with smiles as tears were streaming down their faces, and each being held in their love's arms.
