Note: These are my drabblies from the November GMDDN. In these, Kagome stumbles onto a world that she thought existed in the books she's read until she comes face to face with Sesshomaru, Lord of the Moon Elves. There was a saying in that curiosity killed the cat. Well, curiosity gets the better of this Moon Elf Lord and well, you'll have to read them from there.
Some GMDDN Magic
Prompt: Latch
Kagome had no idea how this happened. One minute she was in her backyard with an old book reading a passage, the next minute she ends up in a rather lavish palace with people who looked like the elves she's read about in several other books come to life. "Oh, shit".
Little did she know these elves weren't the cutesy type. No, these elves were very dangerous when provoked. The ones she had seen had eyes that had an eerie glow to them, as if they could see right through those they looked at. One of them approached her. "Strange. You are the first human to actually appear in our realm and you are unlike any ordinary human. Our lord has taken an interest in you. If you would follow me."
Kagome sighed as she followed the elf down several corridors until they reached what looked like a throne room. The elf bowed before another elf who was seated in a throne at the opposite end. This one had silver hair with glowing golden eyes and a crescent moon in the middle of the forehead.
The elf next to her looked down at Kagome and smiled. "May I introduce to you the Lord of the Moon Elves, Sesshomaru."
"Wait, you're Moon Elves? Is this some kind of movie? Or a prank? Or some some kind of weird role-playing game? Where are the cameras?"
Sesshomaru sighed and with a wave of his fingers, the girl was unable to speak. Whenever she opened her mouth, there was nothing but silence. "Be silent, human. This is no game. I assure you this is all a reality. For beings so weak and backwards, your species makes too much noise. However, you have piqued my curiosity. I would like to know more about your kind. Yes, you will do quite nicely. Take her back to the guest quarters. I will arrive shortly and remove the spell." And so began the rest of Kagome's life in the Land of the Moon Elves.
