Tokyo covers 845 square miles today. Edo was a fishing village on the coast that eventually became the original nineteen wards of Tokyo when it was named the capital. Most of us who obsess over the where and when of things agree that Edo was very far from Kaede's village, the only name ever given the village next to the Bone-gobbling well. The Higurashi jinja (the name given to Kagome's shrine - watch the Noh mask episode in Japanese) would have been in one of the outer wards that were added as the capital expanded in more modern times. My personal favs are either the Nerima or Itabashi wards, as these are closest to 'Western' Japan.

Great story sofar, but your paragraphs could do some more editing, there are a few really huge chubnks of text that become a bit heavy to read.

Smaller paragraphs & some more linebreaks would make the reading smother & less risk of loosing you place 6 re-reading the same line. 

Great chap just wish kagome would have let a little of her power been felt. Now the fun starts.

Awesome way to end the chapter. I just could imagine the end song playing after the last sentence and the end credits scrolling lol. AND A NEW QUEST BEGINS!!! OOOO I cannot wait to see what Kagome turns into. Please make her  stay true to her ideals but PLEASE do not make her wimpy and whiney like I have seen in some other stories. Anyways  Ill be waiting for the update. Ja ne!

Oh no. This is not going to end well for the visiting Monks, nor should it. I sense an adventure brewing!! YAY! Sesshomaru and Kagome going on an adventure!

Well this is going to be interesting.

Holy crap. I was so not expecting that from those monks ... though I really should have. This story is absolutely excellent so far! You really grasp their characters so well, especially Sesshoumaru. I am anxious to see how Kagome and Kaede will respond to them. Well, Kagome is so hot headed so I wouldn't be surprised if she loses her cool. 

I really do enjoy the slow start to Kagome and Sesshoumaru's relationship here .. he is so complex that in order for it to seem realistic, it definitely will take a build up of story. I just can't wait to see more interactions between the two though!
