I was beginning to wonder if any of the other characters were going to make an appearance.  ;)

Could the gruff young man be Inuyasha?  LOL  :)

He sounds surprised and angry. 

Of course, he would mistake Kagome for Kikyou as per usual.  What could she have done to make him react in such a way?

it seems that Kagome is not one to be underestimated!  I'm sure now, that she has the ability to survive in this new environment and give the people there a hard time. :)

I'm so happy to see that InuPapa is alive! I know that you are a big SessMama fan, but I do miss Inupapa in your work. Hopefully he will make a few more entrances! And even though I gave him some negative points for thinking that Kagome was/is selling her body. The statement served it purpose: Sesshoumaru got very protective over her. Now if only SessMama and InuPapa would step back things would progress naturally between Sesshoumaru and Kagome.

I get with every chapter even more interested in their past! Why was Kagome on the rodes? What happened to Rin's mother?  Did Sesshoumaru love her? And so on... don't torture us much longer!

I feel like the amount of uneasiness Kagome feels is out of proportion to Sesshoumaru's and his mother's behaviour. I don't think her mandate from the shrine is the main obstacle here. Does she have past, negative experience with noble persons? Perhaps that is where Naraku will come into the story? I'm definitely going to be on edge till the central conflict reveals itself!

Anyway, thanks for continuing to update, this story has so much potential and your writing is excellent!

I love that you kind of switched perspectives in the last two chapters. That way we are always up to date about the feelings and thoughts of Kagome and Sesshoumaru!

Your characterization of Sesshoumaru is as always true to the point. You did an especially amazing job in chapter 8. Sesshoumaru was just sooo Sesshoumaru :)

I get with every chapter even more interested in Kagomes' past. I hope you will reveal a few of her secrets in the next chapters. Maybe you will show us even the letter Kagome will write to the shrine? But then again, she surely will be afraid that Lady Nishikawa is going to read it? Gosh, poor Kagome! :) Let's see hiw she is going to survive there!

Like Kagome is a miko so why is Sesshoumaru surprised she had other things to do?  She was also right about her maybe not being qualified.  She doesn't have a degree.  Not even an associates.  She could have wandered back to her shrine doing missions on the way there to ask herself and then return so she can have her play date with Rin, but no that would be a compromise and we can't just do that can we?  Takes two chapters for Sesshoumaru to ask Kagome and then a whole one for her to state the reasons why not.  Why can't people just say things directly.  This is Sengoku Downton Abbey !!!! There is going to be that chapter where Kagome is keeping a dark secret so she rejects Sesshoumaru's marriage proposal and then a diease literally has to murder his fiancee later for them to get back together.  No one read my reviews they contain spoilers for where this fic is going.

Also what is Sesshoumaru's hair color?

You now took a whole chapter for Sesshoumaru with undetermined hair color to ask Kagome a question.  So glad it takes you a month to write these Chie.  Is it because you're attending Hogwarts where you have to write with a quill instead of a pen?  Like I get why they can't be using laptops up in Hogwarts (you know there has to be that one teacher though that wishes they could cause some students have awful hand writing) but I don't get why they couldn't use regular plastic BIC fountain pens.  I'd ask Sesshoumaru but that might take four chapters.

JK of course like I said you have the power to put a lot of detail in small sentences and paragraphs with the words you choose so ur doing a fine job.  Who is the character at the bottom of the screen who's name I have to type?  He isn't in this story.  Unfair.  Is it cause last time you used him you killed him?

oooooo chapter 6.  What happened after that cliff hanger where Inukimi (I'm not even going to pretend to know how to write what you were calling her it's Inukimi with non-disclosed hair color) was going to begin meddling?  I'll tell you what happened in this chapter.  Sesshoumaru walked across a bridge and told someone to raise their head.  Now I only have like two chapters left.  Thanks yo.

Kagome is totally a hime from an enemy clan that ran away though right?  I'm fine with it as long as there is no arranged marriages of any sorts going down.
