Ouch.  That had to hurt to be labeled again.  Kagome struggled with being compared, and Koga's sad claiming wasn't much but was still a nuisance.  But to be called InuYasha's Miko by her mate and husband is a different level.  True, they both have a lot to work on and I'm sure this is going to be an adjustment.

As per his dream, he seemed to be doing ok In her time. I wonder if the reminders of home are settling heavy on tired shoulders.

Aww geez! Why did you have to write that and do that to my heart? Anyway, she wasn't really Inuyasha's. They were just friends who liked each other. The relationship she has with Sesshomaru is different. I believe Kagome loves them both equally, but the love she feels for them is different and no less intense than the other. Also, just continue healing and don't push yourself.

I'm kinda glad to hear it's Sessh you're planning on putting through the ringer. There seems to be a trend towards torturing (sometimes literally) Kagome on this site, it's good to balance it out a little.

These last few chapters are gems.  I love that you went through his different aspects.  This is definitely a learning experience.  I'm sure even in his old age he'll have things to learn as well.  Her humanity, and opposition to his own nature removing her from all that he is too.  What a beautiful story.

Oh I love this!  Thank you for continuing to delve into his inhumanity.  It's refreshing to read a Sesshoumaru that isn't so uppity and arrogant that he can't communicate more freely.  This Sesshoumaru is so much more mature than most portray him with the holier than thou attitude.  That he offers trying to understand is beautiful. 

The moments you have Sess laugh feels so right to his character. You write his and her perspectives so genuinely that I live them as a couple. 

He's a spirit animal God and you carry his pups. LOL
