Aaand they meet. I love how you continue to incorporate the characters in this retelling. At least Kagome is wearing loafers instead of heels!  Instead of cutting off the heel, Sesshomaru could have melted them, LOL. 
I like that you kept Rin as Sesshomaru's ward and there's the tie-in to Souta.  

Hahahaha, this is so much fun.  I remember when her editor asks - "Did you at least get your shots?"  "SHOTS?"  Poor Joan.  You had to feel bad for her.  

Ah!  That was a favorite movie of mine!  I'm looking forward to seeing how you work the Inu Gang into this.  So far so good!

Thanks for avoiding the situation with the birds. Those are things that I don't like from those years, animals - apart from some pets - were treated badly.

By the way, just so you know: it's Cartagena, not Cartageña. Although "ñ" (pronounced like "gn" in Italian, like "gnocchi") is very Spanish, it does not belong to this city's name I'm afraid. It sounds (its pronunciation) more or less like "karta-hena" in Spanish.
