Oh, I just knew there had to be a twist of some sort. I'm wondering if Chikatani has an ace up his sleeve and will risk the wrath of the Death god to help them? He is very clever. 

Another one of your stories where you got me crying like a baby through most of it. Lol I would give some long drawn out speech but I'm too tired so I'll say this, you story being nominated for all those categories is definitely deserved and then some. I hope you never lose your passion for creating the master pieces of FanFiction or doing this couple justice that I don't get to read about that often. Keep it up, you're doing AMAZING!

Since you ended with so many deep searching questions, I will be patient and wait for the answers. I tend to be an easy going reader and try not to demand too much from my authors. I will let you guide the way. I hope that another soul will not have to be sacrificed for her to return to the living world. She would never let someone else be harmed in her stead. Perhaps Chikatani is sad because he knows that Sesshomaru no longer needs him. 

These chapters are all so wonderful. Each one revealing more information, little by little. And every one of them has a delicious tidbit st the end that keeps you coming back for more. I'm looking forward to hearing Chikitani's story.

That was a beautiful chapter. So much revealed. I'm glad that Sesshomaru and his father cleared some of the darkness between them. Now for them to move on and find a way out of there. 

There is going to be some karma spread around. This is a fresh take on their relationship.

Beautiful chapter. These are so well written. His beast is so close to taking over. You write is beast as the really feral creature I imagine him to be. I like that Kagome is not frightened by him.

Yay! An update! I was so excited to see a new chapter and devoured it as quickly as I could. I couldn't help myself. I was biting my nails in worry from the last chapter and the beginning of this one because Sess wasn't ready for this confrontation. But even though it was traumatic, it was a good thing in the end. Sure, Bakusaiga broke, but Sess realized his power and worth was more than his sword. And it was great to see Inu and the gang come swooping in to the rescue. And it was great that Inuyasha got to speak with his father and finally understand the relationship between his parents and Yohime. The cute moment between Rin, AhUn, Jaken and Chikatani was wonderful. I also appreciated Kikyou's brief appearance and telling glances at Yasha. I think it's pretty clear how much Kagome helped Sess when his sword broke and I hope that Kagome doesn't have to struggle too much to see it just as clearly. I mean, I get her desire to be of more help with the actual fighting and not be seen as a potential liability so hopefully her training with Yohime does wonders for her confidence and skill. What is the mystery around the Queen (King Kaien's mate)? I feel so suspicious about Sess's uncle wanting to meet with her...if this is something he wants, then it can't be a good thing. However, maybe her presence will end up a boon to Sesshoumaru's battle with his uncle?
