This sounds sooo interesting, and I think it's more than enough to hold me over while we wait for more First Comes Marriage! 

I've been sick for nearly a week and haven't been on to read, but when I signed on today this was one of the first things that caught my eye. I've really loved your work in FCM, so I'm excited to read more of this.

It is sad when a mother has to come to the realization about one of her children.  What's worse is when the parent or parents fill they have failed.  My good friend told me once with great sincerity  and as old as this statement is it still rings true "you can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink!"  Sometimes it just doesn't matter how hard you try. Sesshoumaru's uncle is the devil.  Great story and I look forward to the next update. 

I am sooo freaking happy for Sesshoumaru!!! I wondered what other trials, tribulations, hindrances he will have to overcome to obtain his other tail(s). I was so sure you would have snuck in some smut *sighs*. Keep up the great work as always!

Wow, now that was one hell of a chapter...  Loved it by the way.  Loved the take on the Queen and her motherly charm.  I fully understand the rose colored glasses a mother wears until the last straw breaks the glasses shielding her from the truth of her child...  i know a parent or two like this one is actually a father.  Anyways, well done on this chapter loved the fight scene with Sesshomaru and his grand father the four-headed water dragon was so cool.  Wonder if Sesshomaru can copy the move, but how much better would it be if he could weld purity into the tsunami he made in Elysium?  Well another great chapter can't wait to read more...

Wonderful chapter. There's a lot going on in here. I'm glad to see the brothers getting along and closing old wounds. You have to wonder what the princes each think of this situation. There's some hidden issues going on there too. Oh and that last discovery about the blood jewel. 

I loved that whole sesshomaru Inuyasha scene he said "is it me or did the taste of the sake really did improve " hahah I lol'd

Love the story, thank you for updating.  Oh wow this was good loved the bothers getting along.  I wonder if the rift between Inu Yasha and Sesshomaru repaired itself enough to allow him the growth he needed one less wound soul had to harbor.  So I wonder if king Kaien-? will have the jewel removed from his mate before having her meet Zetsub?maru.  That would be the best thing to do otherwise he would take the jewel and negate the deal to kill Kimi, Sesshomaru and the rest of his pack there would be no one to stop him from defeating Japan.

Love the brothers bonding & Kagomes pep talk. Is the cousin going to be a possible ally!!!?! I feel like he's pretty ok, just doesn't go against his dad unless he knows he's going to win. Biding his time I guess? Please update soon!

This story is amazing and you are so deserving to be nominated for those categories. I love your portrayals of these characters. I'm looking forward to Yohime training Kagome. Put that reiki to use! I also really like how you have treated Inuyasha. Just like him to be flippant but correct. I'm so looking forward to the rest of this story.

I loved how you approached youkai bonding in your story. The exchange of souls was beautiful and the chapter was wonderful. I'm glad they have some time alone before he has to battle his uncle. No doubt his beast will be much happier. Looking forward to the next chapter. 

Sigh...what an amazing chapter. I don't mind the cliffhangers. They leave you wanting so much more. His beast must be very chuffed. Personally, I feel she will stay. Kagome has never shied away from a battle. 

I know it will be a hard road for them before they can be together. The battle is coming. His uncle will be relentless, his cousins no better. Things need to fall into place quickly. I hope his father has something to say that will get him on the right track!

That was exquisite and so sad for Sesshomaru but there is a glimmer of hope. And here's Kikyo...I wonder how she will play into this.
