I seem to have read the next chapter first, then this one. I'm so glad that Seeshomaru stepped up on this. Perhaps the Empress has gone a bit mad. 

I totally understand how she feels. 

Seems something is happening behind the scenes...maybe the empress is wanting Sesshoumaru for something else.  Maybe holding Kagome hostage or threatening her? Bad mistake ...this empress will find out quick Kagome is a force of nature!

I always loved the idea of a person with a flickering image. It's so cool.

They were a strange pair. First they try to poison her then they try to freeze her. I hope she gets a chance to let out just a bit of her reiki. 

Wow, Talk about ancient man from what Kagome is sensing from the two sounds like one may be part kitsune from the illusions Kagome seen wonder if Sesshomaru know what breed they are?  Glad Sesshomaru is happy with Kagome.  Can't wait to read what happens next.

I do not trust the Emperor and Empress.   They are to suspicious.  Sesshomaru and Kagome need to be careful.

Oh wow so they wanted to see what would happen should she injest the posion...  Hm I think Sesshomaru should be on guard for the birds might have made a posion that Sesshomaru cannot handle or plotting Kagome's demise by having her go somewhere when Sesshomaru is called away...  Never know with these birds...

Oh wow, for some reason I believe the new workers may have been a ploy....  Also figured Inu Yasha might be among them.  Why strange feeling.   I will wait and see.....  Now this chapter Kagome was right in every way....  Except the bad blood would continue since Sesshomaru discovered the poison in her drink.  Shame on the birds...  Bet the former fiance is mad Sesshomaru chose a human than her...  Can't wait to see what happens when Sesshomaru confronts them about the poison.
