I just read the last few chapters all together. Poor Kagome, all the family drama whirling around her must have made her head spin. They are quite the family dynamic. I think I'm understanding part of why Seeshomaru left. His sensibilities are a bit more reserved than his extended family. members.

In regard to your AN, it's interesting, and perfectly apt, that you refer to her as 'warrior' because Miko back in the olden days, as you say, were known as warriors. Over time it shifted and their roles became different, maybe more mundane, but for a long while miko were venerated as warriors. So, well done in your choosing!!

Also, I won't say poor Kagome for the first impression, because really it's those types of first impressions are the ones people remember and can look back on fondly. She's lovable. All will be swell.

oh poor Kagome! Between her flubbing the introductions and the nose bleed, the embarrassment was too much so I could only read these last few chapters while peeking through my fingers. Hopefully, she'll catch a break. I'm sure Sesshoumaru's fam will love her, how could they not? And hopefully, she will also realize that Sesshoumaru didn't bring her just to keep up with his cousins. 

Really looking forward to getting to know the cousins (and the rest of the fam) better. They seem like an interesting bunch of breathtakingly beautiful demons. hahaha!

I'd be angry too if my one of my kin not bothered to respond to any letters sent then show up unanounced but all in all I am certain the uncle is just sizing them up before pleasentries begin.
