WOW!!! This fic almost had me in tears. It was a great story and you dipicted both sides very well. I think you stayed true to the characters and I am in awe.

This story left me feeling queasy and drained, and I mean that in the best possible way.  I don't think I've ever read a fanfic that I considered truly scary before.  I love your work and really hope you decide to continue writing stories should inspiration strike again.

I...... understand where you were going with this. The conundrum and blurred edges of good verses evil. If such an eternal battle truly exists, and how do we determine which is which. However, Don't forget there is still a light in the world, and planting the seeds of hope will always encourage more to grow. You caaaan be joyful without being naive.

Wait...is that it?  Sad, I really liked this story... you are officially my favorite writer here; your use of descriptive words paint such wonderful, dark pictures in every reader's mind.  ^.^  Short, compared to your other story, but so addictingly written I doubt anyone really noticed.  I hope to read more of your work soon!

This was good. Creepy, nightmare-inducing, and scary, but good.

I think the best part of the story was where Kagome realized her only choice was to kill a human. You wrote that part very well. Well, the whole thing was writting well, but still! I loved the ending as well!

Thank you for this fabulous story. I will probably have nightmares about being turned into paste, but it's only fair, considering how much paste I ate as a child.

Wow this was such an amazing story! I loved reading it from the beginning to the end. I love how you insert so much psychological elements into each of your stories. You make Sesshomaru so in character that it's amazing! Better than those stories where he immediatly falls inlove with Kagome and all.. But this works out so well : )

I must say I'm sad to see this end. I did enjoy it immensely despite the casualty of Inuyasha and the lack of a promise of future interaction between Kagome and Sesshoumaru.  However, Sesshoumaru's comment at the very end strikes me as somewhat out of character/sudden. I didn't get the sense that he was feeling the decline of youkai during the bulk of the story, and it seems a bit sudden for him to have taken Jianyu's words to heart so quickly, such that he wouldn't merely consider the concept that youkai were inevitably declining but would actually go so far as to declare it as an immutable fact.  Otherwise, nicely done.

Yet another fantastic story ladybattousai!! Initially, I was thinking that somehow Jianyu had escaped the demons and was going to cause trouble later down the line. I'm probably not the first to say this, but I was thinking that this story would be longer. It  was rather surprising to see "End" at the conclusion of this chapter. Still, I am very pleased with the way it all turned out. Again, your plot was unique, your writing was well above par, your imagery was exquisite and your ability to draw readers into the world you created was outstanding! 

Your descriptions are just immaculate; the burning of the building is quite a beautiful scene.

Glad Sesshoumaru got his justice, it'll be interesting to see what comes of he and Kagome's shared experience.

I just finished reading this story this morning and it was absolutely beautiful.  Yet so incredibly sad.  Well done!

Wow!! Now this was very intense!! Seehoumaru had to do what he did and Kagome had to try and understand. Both sides should not have fed on the other, but thats just the way it goes I guess with Youkai and humans in this story!! Great chapter! I hope you win an award for this well thought up fic, never read one quiet like it!!

awww....the last scene was so sad... but i'm sure that kagome will take it into her hands to rebuild sesshous ego..after all she was kinda responsible for the pain that was inflictig on him ...and she is not so cruel as to wish for demonkind to be wiped out, so she is going to boost his confidence for sure...come on kagome C:

So sad! But beautiful, nonetheless. Did it have to end there? I felt like he was so dejected. He should reclaim his honor and not feel that the sun is only setting for his kind. Sesshomaru is forever too proud for that.
