And they are finally together!! I wonder what adventures will be next (and I say that rather than how ru gonna wrap it up). I also wonder if only Sesshoumaru will be the only one to tell that the new princess is actually Kagome or at least Death's Mistress. I can't wait to see their happily ever after... for its gonna to be a long after :)

I am so so so seriously tempted to just stop reading it right now, cos I just KNOW you are going to make me all angsty again too soon. The little baby "fail-safe" Kagome does NOT instill me with happy ending hopes. Please don't do what I think you are going to. Amer-whatshername said happy ending so there! It must be as the goddess said, so na-na-ni-na-nar! Happy ending will happen. I know this because you are a good person, I trust you to do the right thing.

AHHHH! I thought I was seeing things! It is 5am after all, I had to rub my eyes a couple times, and guess what? That wonderful update I thought I was dreaming about was still there! =D Well thank you Whisper for that wonderful Valentines Day gift It just doesnt get much better than that :)

I hit the ceiling and danced around when I saw you updated.. You saved my feverish day.

My favorite part.  I also like how he can't die with Tenseiga tied to his hand and how it wasn't the battle that threatened his life but a bear youkai during winter.  Makes sense. 

Another thing I like about this chapter is Sesshomaru's distaste for Kagome's position.  I think it shows his real character as that is something he would legitimately be upset about.  It's understanding.  Kagome, selfless, indiscriminately kind, full of love, warmth, understanding, acceptance and light, being forced to carry out a task so opposite of her person.  It is hard not to feel for her position and I wonder if Sesshomaru's opinion on the matter does not carry over to the Kami in some way.  I truly hope they give her a break.

I like that you pointed out the connection between Kohaku and Rin.  Their shared perspective on death is a common foothold that I have never once acknowledged until reading this story.  But it makes so much sense now, even as I look back on the anime and the Final Act, how in tune with each other they were right up to the very end. 

"-for if I did not possess all that love then I never would’ve been able to jump down the well a second time. I never would have known these people I once called friends. And in my eyes knowing them and dying is nothing compared to the pain I would’ve felt if I had never known them to begin with."

Gave me chills.  Seriously.  Story has me all hooked in.  Thank you for this pleasurable addiction.

Nice to see an update finally, though I haven't checked this one in a while and it seems the last one was awhile ago. hope to see another soon.
