Damn, I feel pretty sorry for Kagome here. While it's obvious Sesshomaru cares about her, it's also obvious that he doesn't care about her opinions. Which in Kagome speak is a 'doesn't respect me'. She had it better in the future but being born in the feudal era to a wealthy family is pretty much a prison sentence, even if it's made of gold.

And Hakudoushi? Wow. Loved him as an evil demon kid but as an obsessive stalker? *shudder* Also kind of refreshing that it isn't Naraku.

Have to admit, halfway through chapter one I was imagining Kagome being offered freedom and she takes it giving Sesshomaru a wild goose chase around the ancient world. But then the tittle of the story wouldn't fit haha

wow... are you actually gonna ask Kagome to shoose the lesser of two evils in this story? A mean and possessive husband who doesnt care for more than his image or an evil villian? I like the writing and I like the story since so far. I look forward to next chapter which ever way you take the story.
