Poor Sesshoumaru. It must be hard to call your mom for help...twice. I wonder how this will end for everybody. HOpefully Kagome comes out unscathed or relatively unhurt. I can't wait to see what happens next and at the same time and a little worried bout what is going to happen next :)

O.O Wow! ::thanks you:: I'm just glad you're writing this again! I love how you escalated the tension here...and made the threat of Naraku more real than it has ever been before. I mean, sure, he's been hanging around being a ball of putrid slime that rats would turn their noses up at lest they be considered declasse, but...

What I'm trying to say is, the horror of something like this is made acutely tangible only when a realistic picture of those left behind is presented. So yes, I know Kagome is in danger and all...but what makes me really scared is when I see a man frantic and vulnerable and grasping every avenue of help he can drudge up because he's terrified that it's too late, and he doesn't care, he's not doing this alone at a risk. No matter who he has to beg and what he has to sacrifice, he'll get his wife the help she needs.  It's what trly endeared Sesshoumaru to me - how in the space of one eyeblink he dropped his cold romantic anti-hero facade and became a human being who's losing, and knows he can't afford to.

Oh please tell me this is a nightmare! I could scream this is such a horrible situation. I need a paper bag for this hyperventilation going on right now.
