I liked this opening chapter very much. You were very descriptive and I had a clear picture in my mind about all the different emotions and feelings displayed by each character.  You made it very suspenseful by keeping the details obscure until the end thus making the emergence of the dear little puppy such a surprise to Kagome, Kaede and Sango. I like your style of writing very much and look forward to reading more. Thank you for this lovely entertainment.
