This chapter was as great as the others. I do not know but I think you have made a mistake. Kagome called her grandfather 'Papa' Did you intend to write that or was it just a mistake of yours?

I love the way they all interacted in this one, especially with Tsubaki preferring not to notice how Sesshomaru wants little to do with her. Off I go to read more!

I just found this and I like it. Kikyou as Jane is perfect even if Jane is shy and reserved there is no other Inuyasha character I would prefer as Jane. Can you believe other authors who put Sango as Jane? Seriously, Sango is pretty but she can´t compare to Kikyou´s beauty and is even less like Jane than Kikyou. Kagome as Elizabeth is perfect; charming, witty and beautiful in her own way.

You know, I started with the Inuyasha manga and was disappointed how they made the characters in the anime. In the manga I always thought that Kagome is the most beautiful of the human girls but in the anime they make her so much plainer as she should be because there it´s Kikyou who is the prettiest. Strange, it seems that Kikyou turned to be the most favourite character of Takahashi as she turned her into some kind of Martyr who could do everything and did no wrong; she turned her into some kind of Mary-Sue.

This is rather nice and the characters do fit nicely although I think that the real Miroku is really charming and I love him but Collins is rather annoying. BUT I do understand why you choose him as he is still the most likely to fit his character. More please!

Love it. I really really like this story so far. However, you called Sesshoumaru Mr. Darcy in one part, haha.

What a great chapter! I do hope you'll continue to write on this.^^ I like it very much. I always laugh at the part where miss bingley/tsubaki tries to make a conversation with darcy/Sesshoumaru and fail at it. Really she must be really blind in her affection for him not to notice that he is NOT interested in her. XDXD

I think the casting is well matched.  Kikyou certainly can fit Jane's position well as she doesn't talk much that we see in the manga/anime, and isn't one of the points used to create issues was the seeming lack of affection for Mr Bingley that caused the split? 

I love P&P too, so I'm eager to read more of this!

One more thing: after reading some of the reviews about Mr. Collins being Miroku, I have to disagree with everyone opposing it. Mr. Collins is much like Miroku's personality because they both are looking for any woman to marry/bear them a child. Lady Catherine urged Collins to find a wife so he desparately went to the Bennet's house to find one, no matter who it was. Kind of reminds me of Miroku wanting to find a woman to bear his child because of Naraku's Kazanna curse. Also it's perfect casting because Miroku does come onto Kagome when they first meet in Inuyasha and then down the line ends up with Sango. So I personally think he's perfect for Mr. Collins. Please do not change it! ^_^

I have to tell you that I was sooooooooo excited to find this fic! P&P 2005 is my absolute favorite movie of all time and was thrilled to read this! I was even more thrilled after reading it! I love it!!!!!!!!!! You depict each character perfectly and each Inu character goes perfectly with the P&P characters! You are a wonderful writer and keep going with it!!!!! Thanks!!!! ^__^

nice start, it never occured to me how well the character personas of both stories  could be matched.

P&P is one of my alltime favs (and so's inuyasha!) so I love that you combined the two! Awesome start!

However, I do agree with another reviewer, in that Miroku was badly casted for Mr. Collins. If you were trying to pair Sango and Miroku up, that's ok I guess, but a character that came to mind perfect for Mr. Collins (and isn't used in your story) would be Jaken. Always trying to impress, and always failing xD

It's a very good start!  This is one of my most favourite books on the planet, and one of the most perfectly written books ever published, in my opinion, of course!  I like your selections for the characters.  Naturally, Sesshoumaru would have to be Darcy, as no one else could ever match him.  I do hope, however, your Miroku/Collins mix-up won't be a dreadfully boring and kiss-ass as Austin's was.  Miroku can charm the, well, pants off of anyone, but he was more of a placator than a kiss-ass, and we all know, no one could ever accuse that boy of being boring!  Other than that, don't worry if you leave a little out here and there, that's a rather involved book your writing from.  If you think the movie version of 'Pride and Predjudice' is good, you've got to check out the TV version with Colin Firth as Darcy...ummm, so yummy!
