Go Tsubaki!  I guess she is really going to be one of the "good" characters in this story, I wasn't a hundred percent sure, since she could chicken out or have Stockholm syndrome...

Souta is such a little man.  It was so touching, the way he wanted to make sure if Kagome got married, her man would be faithful to her.  And Sesshomaru, he needed to make a verbal committment, even if it wasn't to Kagome, yet.  I loved that part...

Poor Tsubaki!  Naraku is such an abuser...  Kagome's mother deserved him.

InuYasha and Kikyo are both such a**h****, they deserve each other.  I hope they are miserable together.  I was always juzzled in the anime and manga, why would Kagome be with someone who chose her second, and was always putting her down?  I think you have translated that nicely into the modern era.  On to the next!

I like your version of Kagome.  Even though she is beautiful, she is not one of those girls who think she is "all that".  She is pretty humble.  I like the way she backed off after mentioning to Sesshomaru that his beast had accepted her. 

I'm so glad you updated, and so many chapters too!  Hopefully Naraku doesn't come for Kagome at school....

OH it's getting so close to being juicy....I love the falling in love part.  I wonder if Kags dinner will be a romantic setting with candles and all...you know soft music and dancing....and bam he plants a kiss on her!!! can't wait for an update!
