Nice that they have Sesshoumaru in all the madness and love of family. Little confused about him having a hard time to remember to treat her like a friend...vs as something more? I can't wait to see what happens next though to bring them closer together :)

I think you did really well. The story was missing a bit of one on one bonding with Shippo after such a long time between chapters. Even if it's this small note. Good luck on studying!

Actually you have not said how far along Kagome was. Kind of makes you think. Since you've hinted a car wreck and only a year after the child had died. Did she get injured also? How long did it take for her to heal? Then, when exactly in your time frame did she sleep with him and you could have your guess!

Couple of hours? I think I stared for less than 5min. The plot is thickening!

I loved this chapter~ her reaction is a good one, although as she has lost someone before, I'd think she'd be capable of offering some form of comfort... such as how she copes with Rin being gone.

She's been through a lot of horrible things, and as such, I'm almost certain the character you've created in Kagome would be able to understand the pain Shippo is feeling at the idea of loosing someone-- of being powerless to do anything to stop the person you love from being hurt. :)

However, this isn't bad-- in fact, I like the explanation she gives! I myself have never lost anyone close to death... like ever. And the person I'm most likely to loose first and seemingly sooner than I'd like is my mom... and I honestly have no idea how I'm going to cope. Actually, I'm pretty sure I'm not going to be able to cope... not well, anyway. I may have a new jacket that helps me hug myself for awhile lol XD

But in all seriousness, good advice from K to S, good chapter, and good luck studying ;)

Oh yeah, I forgot grandpa sure enough did send her out by herself...what was he thinking with creepy spider dude still at large.  Can't wait for more interaction between S&K...especially now that they're living together, under one roof and 'tis the season and all that fluff and stuff.
