Loved this chapter and I totally agree with you. Inuyasha and Kagome belong together, not necessary as a romantic pairing but still together. Soulmates on a higher level than mere romantic love. Not that a real (romantic) love between a pair is not something beautiful but other important bonds are almost every time just not shown or entirely neglected.

I would have prefered if Rumiko did not put love into their relationship. Their closeness, the knowledge of the other and the absolute trust between them is something much rarer than romance. And I think it would have been so much better if she would have fallen for another than her best friend which just complicates everything. Too bad that Takahashi just went with what most young girls want to read.

omg, omg, omg...you are such a baddie banana. I was so panicked for a moment. I literally had to stop reading bc I thought it was heading in a direction that just horrified me. You know how you never want to walk in on your parents? The horror and mortification at the thought of sexy time between Sess and K's mom is just too, too much. Smut I can handle but not betwixt Sess and K's mom...please don't ever do that to my innocent mind again...
