Clever, Sesshoumaru, if history is already changing why not hasten it's course? Great chapter, I loved that they are mated again and now I am really anxious waiting for the trial and Kagome's appearance before everyone.

I just read this last chapter and before I pass out from my meds, I wanted to tell you that you did even better with bringing all this together to this point. I know it's been some what of a struggle trying to bring all the loose ends together but you've done brilliantly and I later on today when I can be more alert I want to give you a better review. Maybe I'll just PM you with my thoughts.

I do wish though that when Kagome finally arrives that she gets to have her chance to stand up to these people, her own race, and show them who she really is. Let her have her day in front of these, her fellow humans, who claimed that they only wanted peace and trust between the species.

Yayyy,  they finally mate again! So happy for them both. Can't wait to see how the story wraps up especially about Sesshomaru's treaty with the emperor.  Update soon please!

Yay one more chapter, I'm soooooo happy.

Wow. I had to catch up and catch my breath. These last few chapters were heavy.

What will happen next. What will sesshomaru do.  As glad as i am for them (kags and ses) to be together he helped turn the prinsess into what she is. 

I want those people to know of kagomes power who whe realy is.

I want her to shine and for those who know of her to come forth. I just want her to have her day in the sun. I noticed that the rest of the family was not there. I think they thought she was crazy as well. I want a life a good life for everyone involved. I don't want to see anymore sadness. I know that the trust between kagome and sesshomaru will have to grow again.

I wonder what the Emperor will say about this. I wonder how much sway he had in the first place. 

all this time and all this pain will teach all of them is very valuable lesson the heartbreak of it all made the whole thing much worse. 

you have written such a wonderful story. It was hard for me to read it all. I have never been one for a lot of angst. Your writing was so good that I was in the story. I saw myself as kagome and I saw myself as a princess. 

Finally that obsessed witch will get her just rewards. At first I tried to be sympathetic because I felt bad for her. She was really in a tough spot but so was everyone else and they made do and coped. But princess Maemi is a spoiled brat that wanted everything to go her way instead of dealing with the isuues dealt to her by fate.

The chapter was hard to read, poor Kagome had to go through all those indignities because of a delusional woman. And Sesshomaru coming in to save her like that...priceless. The plan was excellent, Shippo's reaction to his mother's suffering was heartbreaking. I am sad to see the story come to an end. But i know you will come up with another story with that creative mind of yours. Fantastic story, will be a fave of mine

PS. I would love to read an epilogue after the last chapter if you don't mind.~

Dear Moonlight - usually I'm not comfortable leaving reviews, however I want you to know I love this story! Your plot is not predictable and I eagerly await each new chapter.  I'm glad Sesshoumaru's plan worked and he was able to rescue Kagome from that witch of a wife! Finally she, the mother, and the emperor will know the errors of their ways.

I hope the following chapter will explain how Sesshoumaru handle the betrayal of Maemi and company -- I would love to read their reaction when Kagome is revealed as the Shikon Miko! That should wipe the smug expression from the wife and mother's face! Maemi and mother are both crazy!  How could Kagome's position in Sesshoumaru's life be lowered from mate to consort, mistress and whore! If anything Maemi needed to get Kagome's premission to be with Sesshomaru!

Nevertheless, it is your story and I cannot tell you what to write.  Keep up the good work and I look forward to reading your future works.

I love how Sesshoumaru showed the true meaning behind his name; killing five enemies at once in just a scant second? I think this is the first time Maemi witnessed him in battle, no? That's right girl, fear him. You touched Kagome, you just secured your future in the afterlife. The emperor wouldn't be able to save her now because Kagome was arrested in the West where he has no clout -- how everything unfolded is just brilliant! And Shippo taking the captain's persona until he was able to testify against the princess? Just brilliant. My initial worries about Maemi & her gang one-upping Sesshoumaru disappeared because if anything, it only expedited Sesshoumaru's plans.

Speaking of Shippou, I'm glad that he was there to watch over everything. Knowing how crazy the princess is, she might've resorted to extreme measures just to break Kagome's spirit before executing her.

I love how you wrote their first meeting. The vivid descriptions of even the littlest of things (wind blowing her hair, etc) added to the tension that I was always on the edge of my seat. I also love the bit where Maemi, though she was all smug & haughty, finally admitted that she could never defeat Kagome. What more if she learns she is the Shikon miko?

Maemi deserves whatever is coming to her, as well as her mother and Jade. She has no clue about mating bonds; you kill one half of a mated pair, you kill the other half. What a jealous delusional idiot. Can't wait for the finale.

Great chapter, Sesshoumaru's trap was impeccablle and I don't think I've read a chapter so fast in all my life to know what would come next. Soon after, I read it slower as to not miss any detail. Yes, the princess and her mother really have a criminal's mind, and her mother's remark about the first wife was rich, for Maemi came in Sesshoumaru's life after Kagome. Now, Sesshoumaru is free to punish all of them as he sees fit, and keeping Shipo disguised as the captain until he testifies against the princess and their followers as to not leave any doubt about their treachery, was a touch of genius. Your story is an artwork and I can't wait for the next chapter. Congratulations.

Applause! Applause! I bow to your greatest, oh my dear Moonlight Silk, this was just so beautifully done. The way this chapter flowed and moved from one extreme to the next to have our hero, Sesshoumaru move in as freely as silk falls off one's skin, to come in swiftly covering his soul's mate and just as silkily take her away from her torment and embarrassment.

The look on Maemi's face and the fear she feelt at that moment, I honestly thought she would have relieved herself out of the emmence fear and overbearing youki and the same for her Step mother and cousin too. They truly have no idea how this can totally change everything. And who will plead insanity over the Princess' unjust involvement in all of this? I see her other two cousins weren't in apperance. Perhaps they decided she had gone too far this time, bating the child she knew would only defend her own mother's love as she did the last time the Princess said such demeaning things to the child's face forcing the girl's animal and human side into defensive mode.

Oh and Maemi's mother made the remark about the Lord needing the first wife's approval before taking a consort, as I said earlier, Kagome was the first wife before he married the Princess. She just couldn't stay and watch as another woman shared her husband and didn't want him to feel her grief over it, so she did what they thought was best so his mate needn't be hurt anymore than she already had been by the deception of this treaty, this agreement between Leaders to protect a peaceful union of bothe human and youkai.

I was in total awe and tears run down my cheeks quietly sobbing for the injustice Kagome had to endure just to get this deluded princess to exact her revenge to execute the prietess, the Shkon Miko, who literally saved the world from the unholy destruction of a madman. Poor Shippo, having to stand back and wait until the time was right but I could feel his pain, bitter anquish and rage wanting to kill each and every being there but he had to follow his Lord's plan to make it all work out right.

I'm so proud of you, Moonlight! Again, I respectfully bow at your great imagination and patience for it to have a most proper and exciting end.  JEN
