So I am going to hazard a guess and say that in order to inherit everything one of the brothers must be married. And the brother to inherit must get married before the other one. Ha ha. Of course Sesshomaru doesn't even have a girlfriend, mush less any female acquaintences while Inuyasha has a fiancee. Now who wouldn't be angry, especially if they worked so hard (20+ years) helping dear old Dad build up an empire, only to have it possibly snatched away from him by Inuyasha at the last minute? I am sure that Inuyasha isn't interested in the business, otherwise he probably would have become involved in it somehow way before now, so I am guessing that this clause is also for Sesshomaru to find someone to share his life with. Perhaps his Father noticed how lonely Sess was over those 20 years and wanted him to have someone to share his life and not be so lonely? This was his only way to ensure that Sesshomaru got a wife (and love?) since he wanted the business he worked so hard for.

As for Inuyasha, well he might just try to marry first just to spite Sesshomaru, but he would end up running the business right into the ground if he doesn't have a clue about it. Or he would just sell it. Then he would most likely have to take all of that money and use it for all of the security guards he can buy (and plan his funeral) cause Sesshomaru will be out for his blood.

Now since Sess has a very stratigic mind, I'm going to bet that once he gets back to Kagome's home, he will take one look at her and those wheels inside his head will start spinning so fast thatthey'll break the sound barrier! Yup!!! Kagome is doomed! Once Sess locks his sights on her Kagome is a goner! Start running Kags! Sess is on the hunt!!! (Yummy! Lucky Kagome!!!)

Nice hook to get him to take a second look. I can see the sweat drops and nose bleeds in my mind's eye. Now the challenge is how to get them (and keep them) together without using the tired but the beast wants.

Interesting start. Though you might need to go on to explain why exactly Sesshomaru had to stay with Kagome. You have the bit about him not staying with Inuyasha because of Kikyo but why not a hotel/motel? 

I like the premise of this story so far.  And I can't wait to find out what the stipulations are.

Oh my goodness! I'm so glad you finally posted this on Dokuga! I remember reading it on the Dokuga_Contest site when it was still active, and this was probably one of my favorite series of entries. Super excited to see this continued!
