I love how this story is told from Sesshomaru's perspective without being in 1st person. I feel like it helps me connect better. And I really really like Sesshomaru's character. Its a unique representation of him without seeming to off base! Can't wait for an update.

Hm, why would his being a doctor require that he can not be with her?  And why would she feel the need to make that decision for him without his knowledge?  This is very tragically romantic, but I've always found this train of thought interesting.  I can't wait to see what thoughts are behind this one-sided decision about his life?  Thanks again for the very fast update!  I have my fingers crossed for another!

I'm very interested in what would make her leave someone who obviously love her and break his heart to the point where 8 years later he's still grieving for the relationship.  Especially since she's apparently moved on to a very happy life until getting sick.  I have a couple of guesses, but I can't help but want her to have to work hard to rebuild even a friendship with him.  I know she's sick, but that doesn't erase pain...
