Loved all the chapters leading to the second babe being born and well Jaken deserved the wet cloth for going where he was not susposed too.  Can't wait to read more.

Oh these chapters were great so I wonder how the land became tainted with poison?  Thankfully Kagoem was there to help save them and the land.  Oh I think Kagome has a crush on Sesshomaru....  lol

At Katrina. I always like to go back and see what others think of the story. It’s nice to see other opinions. I noticed you made mention of a the duck in. I think you mean a Tur-Duck-In. Which is a chicken stuffed into a duck and then stuffed into a turkey and then roasted. It’s a South Louisiana speciality. A Cajun invention. We live in northern Louisiana but have yet to try this Dish. I’ll stick with turkey; roasted, brined, smoked or fried. LOL

Hello, love the story so far but I did have a question. How does sesshomaru know that there is a herd? So far he only knows of kagome and the black colt, also it is weird for sesshomaru to basicly going from not believing unicorns exist to calmly talking to one turned human. Maybe because he has not seen her true form yet that he has ignored it? Just food for thought.

Thank you for upda this wonderful story! Inuyasha is such a sweet and sad, lost boy just starving for anyone to love him. It just hurts me. I hope that Kagome can get the young male horse out of the village. I am sure that he is part of her herd but I don’t know if their is any relatio. Perhaps a younger sibling? 

On another note, after reading about only the green duck eggs becoming viable seems s bit strange at first but makes me wonder if those eggs came from the same mated pair because of the color. I don’t know much about duck eggs, but my family raised chickens and hogs when I was very young. Of course, this is the time of year when I think about Charles Dickens and A Christmas Carol. The mention of duck oddly enough, made me think of the goose dinner in that story and the-duck-in. I have always wanted to try those two dishes. Also the chestnut stuffing and plum pudding. Sounds so yummy! I can’t wait for Thanksgiving!

I am glad to see that your hands are quite recovered to write again from last Winter. I know it is ridiculously late to say it, since it happened back around January, but it seems my computer has been quite naughty and has been putting many stories that I have been following on several sites in my junk folder. I just happened to be bored one day and just sifted thru that file before I cleared it out and found many lovely surprises, including this story. My hands were like that too one year. They got so bad that the joints swelle, the skin dried, cracked, and bled and hurt!!! I had to go to my Doctor for some prescription ointment. Regular over the counter stuff wouldn’t work. I even invested a small fortune in specialized hand lotions, soaps and gels before giving up and going to the Dr. It seemed that the hand soap where I worked was so potent that it not only washed off dirt and oil from my hands to clean them, but also stripped my hands of their natural oils that the skin produces to keep soft, smooth and protect it from the weather. Go figure!

Keep updating! I can’t wait to see if Sess and Kags form some sort of romantic attachment. Maybe Kagome’s here will move near the small village and become unofficial protectors for that village. I think the humans could learn quite a bit from ones like Kagome. I can’t wait to read how this story progresse.
