Sesshoumaru being seen talking to Kouga by his wife's cousin will no doubt spell trouble for him. At least he has some people backing him through all of this and hopefully can find the information he needs to prove his wife's involvement and he can use it to divorce her, but that alone won't help him where Kagome is concerned when she finally learns that he knew exactly who is was and that InuYasha had swore to come back to claim her as his. Even if Kagome regains her friendship with Rin, I don't see it helping him with keeping Kagome. Rin would no doubt tell Kagome things about Sesshoumaru that might keep Kagome from wanting to do anything with him. Rin's anger can spin many tales whether true or not.

p.s. I am so looking forward to Inu coming home and seeing Kagome. No pressure...really. I just wonder if she'll recognise him immediately or not. It seems she remembered Rin very well and her relationship with Sesshoumaru, so I just am anxious over her reaction and recollection of InuYasha.

Well it proves that they are both fully in this relationship, and that Sesshoumaru really plans on ending his marriage. Although if his wife finds out I'm sure she'll be pissed, mainly since than everyone she is lying to will know that her husband is not happy with her.

Well, at least now all details pertaining Rin's past and why Sesshoumaru remais stuck at an unhappy marriage are revealed to Kagome by his mother. I can understand her desire to see her son happy, even knowing that he acted wrongly taking advantage of the absence of Inuyasha and Kagome's belief that he was her lost love. After all every mother wants to see their child happy, no matter the circumstances, and she seems willing to help him to win Kagome's heart any way she can. Loved the chapter.

OK, so now we know what happened with Rin. Poor girl to be cursed with such a thing. At least when married she was sated sexually and had a marriage to her soulmate for a time but then when he died and she couldn't she must have felt so cheated. Knowing that when we die we will be with our soulmate once again helps to get through life but knowing we can't die...poor girl, such heatbreak.

We also find out the thing that Sesshoumaru's wife is using to blackmail him with. During the warring states era killing  those men like that would have been seen as justice but when humans made governments and laws to prevent such acts, that woman used these laws to keep Sesshoumaru under her control. He can't go to prison and leave Rin without his constant guard even though she is still angry with him and his businessnesses would go through tremendous trouble with this news. His love for his little girl blinded his logic to his future and hers. Does this mean that Rin can never die at all? We know that youkai can be killed and they can eventually age and die according to the series but their death will seem immortal to we humans.

I can just see Sesshoumaru asking his mother to tell Kagome the story. It must have been difficult for him to tell anyone why he wanted the child to live. Many would see him as weak or selfish and maybe to a point it is in a youkai's way of seeing it but to a human, we know just how much love will make us do almost anything to keep our precious one's with us.

I believe if Rin can be with Kagome again she'll learn to become that same sweet, loving, forgiving girl she once was and learn to forgive her Sesshoumaru sama for his want and love to keep her alive. Kagome has always had a way with people, youkai and human. She is just a blessing to all who meet her...well, those who will allow her in their lives.

It's going to be one sincerely difficult thing to get his wife to allow him a divorce. To top all of this and to have InuYasha coming home is going to be a literal hell for him and then at the same time he has found that he can indeed fall in love and it's his brother's miko from the past that his brother has told him he plans to come back and claim. 

I know Kagome will understand and stand behind him for all he's done but when she realizes that InuYasha and she shared love in the Sengoku Jidai and Sesshoumaru knew this and didn't right her assumptions that he was the one she dreamt of, well, I think Sesshoumaru will have just about all he can handle at that time. I don't kow for sure what you have in mind but I just wish Sesshoumaru would have given more thought to trying to win Kagome before Inu's return.

I know Kagome isn't one to use Rin against him, it's not her style really...but she'll have an inkling to how Rin felt about Sesshoumaru taking things into his own hands without giving out the full information first. Agreed?!?

Loved the chapter. Great having the backgound on a few things cleared up and for seeing that Sesshoumaru is closer with his mother enough to ask her help with Kagome while he takes care of "business, ie his wife".

Mooooorrrreeee...I love this story...at first i didnt want to read it because only read stories of 25+ chapters... But this just kept me wanting to know what was going to happen next...

I just read chapter 15 and since I usually like read what other reviewers have say I read them first before leaving a review to see if like minds think alike. I was reading Tana_san's review and she said almost the exact things I was thinking about Inuyasha and the getting stuck as in knotting. I was thinking at some point Kagome was going to get pregnant but was a matter of when. I feel like it's going to happen sooner than later. I too like your plot twists and turns.  I love all your stories. You are such a wonderful writer. I can't wait for when Inu shows up and the fireworks begin.

Since Kagome has fallen so in love with Sess, I don't think she will turn away from him but she will be darn right onery with him. She may even disappear for awhile to get her head on straight. Looking forward to the next chapter and future ones also. As always what a great job and a wonferfully written story.

Seems it will be sooner than later when InuYasha returns to lay claim on Kagome. Poor Sesshoumaru never thought love into the equation since he's never had felt this emotion before and now he can't deny it to himself any longer.

I really feel awful for what Kagome is going to be put through when she finally sees InuYasha. She has a fiery little temper but her heart is what I'm most concerned about. InuYasha hurt Kagome over and over in the Feudal Era by always running after Kikyou and now she is bound to feel cheated and used by Sesshoumaru as he knew the truth of Kagome's past without telling her. I really hate seeing Kagome get hurt emotionally again.

You said that Inu was going to see "his" daughter before coming home, now Sesshoumaru was talking to himself at this time, was the "his" in reference to Rin, Sesshoumaru's daughter or does Inu have a daughter from a past relationship? Just throwing this out there as you never mentioned him having any children before.

Another thing has me curious... Sessh tried to cover Kagome's sounds of passion but then got so enraptured himself, did he allow then to let their passion be heard by others or did he hopefully throw up a sound barrier? Interesting to me because with him getting stuck inside her can only mean one thing and that is that his inner inu has approved of their joining and wants to pup her to show she's his or am I way off base???

When an inu knots within their chosen female one of the first things is to get her pupped and even though Sesshoumaru didn't plan on this course of action he's stuck now until his inu is sated and pupped....correct????

This would be a most unusal predictament to have Kagome pupped when he couldn't pup his own wife for whole length of their marriage and that will most definitely add fuel to this fire that Sessh has created.

I so adore when you put twists and turns of turmoil into your fics...so devious and intriguing. I love guessing the plot before it happens.

Though......Kagome seems to keep feeling she is betraying someone, should keep her distance, etc etc. Yet, she feels complete with Sesshomaru. I think, even when she does get her memories back, and once she calms down, she'll remember how caring Sesshomaru was to her. And if she goes the normal "he did it to hurt Inuyaha" deal....If he truly wanted to sleep with her just to get back at Inuyasha, he would keep trophies or do something truly diabolical like tape/record one of their bouts and spread it around to hurt Inuyasha. Instead, Sesshomaru's been taking care of her and fulfilling all of her needs whether it's to see her family or school or needing work or keep their relationship a secret so there's no gossip, etc.....

I also am so happy Sesshomaru won't run and he decided to pull on his big boy pants and fight for Kagome. He already knows she'll be angry and hurt and feel betrayed and while he and Inu seem to be close, that will now be ruined. Sesshomaru is risking so much for Kagome. Obviously with his "wife", he shouldn't have any weakenesses and yet that is what Kagome is for him. So I am sure his wife will going to try to hurt him or bring him down.....and Inuyasha may even assist her because he'll be angry and wanting revenge agaisnt Sesshomaru. Not to mention the scandal this would cause and Kagome's angst as well. And Sesshomaru doesn't seem to take it well when she is hurt and crying.

Though I do wish Sesshomaru would come clean about Rin and his wife. There must be a huge depressing story there to sever such close bonds between Sesshomaru and Rin. She was (is?) pack and it seems that close bond might have been destroyed completely.
