Chapter 1

“Bangs… No bangs… Bangs orrr no bangs”. Kagome sat lifting her hair up and down trying to decide what to do.  

“Keh, it’s not that hard a choice. Just pick all ready.” InuYasha huffed in annoyance. 

“Unlike you, I actually care about what my hair looks like.” Kagome shot over her shoulder. 

“Keh whatever.” Inuyasha leaned back against her wall to continue his viewing of the garden.  

“Hmmmm.” Kagome began her action again of hold her hair in various bang styles. “What to do, what to do. Bangs, no bangs, bangssss or no bangs.” Kagome turned a chunk of hair upwards inspecting the ends.  

SNIP 

Loose ebony tendrils drifted to the floor before Kagome's eyes. Her eyes widened. Wide eyes looked at the section of hair in her hands and the end of said hair on the floor and not up where it belonged. Realization finally hit and startled eyes flicked to the mirror to study the damage.  

InuYasha noticed Kagome's rambling had stopped and turned to comment and stopped dead in his tracks and gapped in disbelief at the culprit of said incident.  

“My- m-my hair...” Kagome barely muttered.  

“Mate you look lovely either way. This should elevate the stress to decide.” 

Blue eyes hardened and fist clinched the section of hair. Whirling around to thrust said handful of hair in Sesshomaru’s face. “MY HAIR!!”  

“It is only hair dear one, it will grow. Are you not pleased?” his brow pinched together in confusion.  

InuYasha began to sputter. Blue eyes bore into gold. “Am I please? REALLY? that’s what you have to say. Sessh, that is my hair! You sliced off my hair!!” 

“Hnn...” he looked at her skeptically. “Were you not trying to decide on this matter? this one has heard you discuss this for day. This one only wished to taking the burden of deciding off of you.” 

“How would you feel if I cut your hair off without asking.” 

Sesshomaru scoffed. “You could not do such to this one.”  

“Not the point Sessh.” 

“Hnn, very well. It would grow back. It would not bother this Sesshomaru very long.” 

“How would you feel if I continued to cut it so you would be stuck with short hair for over a year. My hair does not grow as fast as yours Sessh and you didn’t... even cut it even.” the last part said with a slight sob. 

Sesshomaru stepped back clutching his hair. “Hnn.” Seeing his mate’s eyes begin to water as she turned back to her vanity, he sought to comfort. “Perhaps this one can help fix his mistake?” 

“I think not mister. You’ll be lucky if those hands come near me at all this week.” Kagome sniffed and puffed up her chest and set to correct the situation.  

Sesshomaru went to join InuYasha on the veranda silently. InuYasha whistled “Man you are in the dog house now.”
