Not everything is what it seems... by Midnight Cat

Chapter 1

Everyone in the Inuyasha Universe belong to me while I am in my padded cell.  Otherwise, Rumiko Takahashi owns the right to everything!

Life in modern Tokyo was such a contrast to her life in the Sengoku Jidai for the young schoolgirl/priestess, just this weekend she had a blast with her friends, going to the movies and catching the latest release to her favorite movie series! They even wore their favorite t-shirts with their colors prominently emblazoned for all to see. Then they spent an entire evening talking about how the movie lived up to the books they were based upon. So much fun and a much needed break! But it was not to last, the very next day she was back through the well in the past...

Kagome couldn’t take it anymore! Even after their group accepted Sesshomaru to join forces against their common enemy, Inuyasha kept pushing them without any regard to their stamina, and it had been a hot tiring day of battles and constant walking. 

Knowing that if she was to address this with Inuyasha it would never gain her anything, she decided to plead her case to someone with more common sense: “Lord Sesshomaru, can we stop and make camp?, I’m exhausted and everyone else is tired and hungry!”

“No way wench! We need to keep going!” yelled Inuyasha.

Suddenly a gigantic spider came crashing between the trees.

“Hnnn... Not naraku, but definitely one of his creations" Sesshomaru said while looking at the spider.

Kagome was taken by surprise, she was extremelly tired and knew her reflexes were not as sharp, but this was not the time to let everyone down, she needed to fight just like everyone else, so without thinking twice she run with an arrow in her hand and pointed at the spider while yelling:

“Expelliarmus!”

Everyone in battle (including the spider) stopped to stare at her with different looks on their faces…

“Ehh….. Hehehehe!!” She laughed nervously.

Sesshomaru took that chance to slash the puppet and finish the battle. “Strange paralyzing spell Miko...”

Kagome only thought: “This darn Harry Potter addiction is going to be the death of me!”
