He knew it was going to be madness! It was not possible for the lord of the western lands to remove his mate from the party. Her scent was driving him to the brink of insanity and if he didn’t get to his chambers with his mate soon he would probably go crazy!

He never imagined that she would go in heat so suddenly, but her scent could not lie! The gregarious creature just kept torturing him by making small talk with one person after another while he felt his control beginning to slip little by little...

Just when he was about to howl in desperation her twinkling voice whispered in his ear:

“My mate, is there a reason why we must be here when we could be doing something more enjoyable?"

At that moment one of the lords spoke: “Lord Sesshomaru, we must meet soon to discuss trade agree…. Well, that’s funny; I could have sworn he was just here!”
