What’s Your Sign? January IDDNs

Prompt: Aries

"Come on, Kagome. Do I really have to do this?"

"Yes, Inuyasha. Besides, you're the perfect person for this."

"This is stupid. And what is this for again?"

"The twelve signs of the Zodiac."

"And you couldn't get your mate to do this?"

"No, now get to it. He's already busy enough as it is. Besides, you're still single and there's no way I'm sharing my sexy mate with anyone."

The hanyou growled with irritation. "Fine, I'll do it. I knew I should have mated when I had the chance."

"Cool. Now pose for me like the sexy single hanyou you are." Inuyasha, dressed in briefs and faux ram horns posed for the camera.

"Great. 1 down, 11 more to go." Inuyasha groaned at this. What a day.

Prompt: Taurus

"Are you ready yet?"

Inuyasha sighed. "Just give me a sec. I look like an idiot." The hanyou came out in a different pair of briefs and faux bull horns on his head.

Kagome grinned at the sight of him as Taurus. "You look great. Now pose for me."

The hanyou posed once again for the camera, flexing a bicep. Kagome snapped the picture.

"Perfect. You're going to have to hurry up for the next one. The new moon is tonight."

"Oh, great. Just great."

Prompt: Gemini

Inuyasha quickly removed his bull horns and posed again for Kagome's camera as the sun was about to set soon and the new moon was about to rise. As he turned human, Inuyasha posed yet again for the camera. He knew Kagome would have to do some photography work with this picture. It was working out perfectly. Tomorrow, they would continue with the calendar pictures. For now, they would get some rest. They had a busy day ahead, much to the hanyou's dismay. Kagome resumed taking the pictures for the Zodiac calendar with Shippo's help. She needed his help in creating the illusion of crab claws for the next picture.

Prompt: Cancer

Kagome resumed taking the pictures for the Zodiac calendar with Shippo's help. She needed his help in creating the illusion of crab claws for the next picture.

"Okay, now Inuyasha, I want you to flex one of your biceps like you did for the Taurus picture and lift your other arm as if you're blocking an attack."

Inuyasha sighed and did as he was told. Kagome snapped the picture. "Perfect. Thanks, Shippo."

The kitsune grinned. "Anytime. Do you need me for the rest of the pictures?"

"Not right now. I'll definitely need you for some others."

"Cool. I saw the pictures, Inuyasha. You look really good."

"YOU should be doing this, ya little runt."

"Right, and have Souten threaten every woman with electrocution? I don't think so."

Prompt: Leo

Kagome was stumped as to what to do for the next picture. "This bites."

Inuyasha was confused at this. "What is it? Trying to figure out what to do for the next one?"

Kagome looked at her friend and an idea suddenly popped into her head. Inuyasha leaned back and didn't like that look on her face. "Oh no. What do you have in mind, Kagome?"

"I could tell you, but you wouldn't like it."

"Oh boy, just tell me so we can get this over with."

"Let your beast take over for a while."

"ARE YOU CRAZY?! What if he wants to do something...inappropriate to you?"

"Just trust me."

Inuyasha sighed as he concentrated on bringing out his beast for the shot. Little did he know his beast was enjoying the shoot. And so, his beast came forth, elongated claws and fangs. Inuyasha growled as Kagome, his Alpha female, teased up his hair, making it to resemble a lion's mane. Inuyasha lifted his claw, posed like a beast on the prowl and roared as Kagome snapped the picture. His beast growled at Kagome, thanking her as he retreated. Inuyasha returned to normal. "Did I do anything to you?"

"Nope. Told you to trust me. He actually liked it."

WIth that, Inuyasha facefaulted.

Prompt: Virgo

Inuyasha soon recovered. "I know I was hearing things. You said my beast enjoyed it?"

"Yeah. He's not all about killing these days. Now get ready. You have to get ready for the next picture."

Inuyasha combed his hair once more before taking the picture for Virgo. Kagome gave him a white rose. "It's just for the picture."

The hanyou sighed as he delicately held the rose in both hands and Kagome snapped the picture.

Kagome was pleased at how the pictures were turning out. "Great. We're halfway done. See, it's not so bad."

"Keh, you're not the one posing for the camera."

"If I were and Sesshomaru saw the pictures, he'd hide them, buy every calendar available and threaten bodily harm to any male fans."

Inuyasha shuddered at this. "You're right."

Prompt: Libra

"All right, what's the next one?"

"Libra the Scales."

"Scales? We don't have any scales, Kagome."

"That's why we have Shippo here." Shippo came up to Inuyasha and put an item in each of the hanyou's hands.

"Now hold out your arms like so, Inuyasha. Slightly flex your biceps for this one." Inuyasha did what Shippo told him to and in each hand were chains attached to flat bowls from both ends. "You can snap the picture, Kagome."

Kagome did just that. "Oooh, perfect. You're a natural, Inuyasha. Speaking of Libra, you're a perfect balance of youkai and human being a hanyou and all."

Inuyasha couldn't help but blush. "Uh, yeah."

Prompt: Scorpio

"I can't believe I'm actually doing this."

"You're doing just fine, Inuyasha. The both of you will be done in time. I think Scorpio is next. Guess I have to do my magic."

"Just get to it, Shippo."

Shippo created the illusions of scorpion claws and a scorpion tail. Kagome, of course, was pleased and took the picture.

Inuyasha relaxed from the pose he made for the picture, dissolving the illusion. "How many more?"

"Just four more, Inuyasha and we'll be done."

"Fine, fine. Let's just do this already."

Prompt: Sagittarius

Kagome brought out a bow and arrow for the next picture. Inuyasha sighed. "Let me guess. The next one is an archer."

"Yep. Now the only thing you have to hold onto the arrow as if you're going to shoot it, BUT DON'T LET GO OF IT."

"All right, all right." Inuyasha turned to the side with the bow and arrow in his hands as Kagome snapped the picture. Shippo had a mischievous as he turned into mist and grabbed Inuyasha's sides, causing him to accidentally shoot the arrow. Kagome gasped as the arrow was let loose. "NOOOO!!"

A growl of pain was heard as Sesshomaru entered his mate's photography studio. "What is the meaning of this?"

Shippo snickered as the arrow found its target...on the taiyoukai's butt. Inuyasha's eyes widened. "Uh, sorry?"

"Hmph." Sesshomaru turned and headed back to his study. Kagome covered her mouth to keep herself from laughing when he turned around. On his way to his study, he yanked the arrow out of his butt. "Very humurous indeed."

Prompt: Capricorn

Inuyasha wanted to strangle the kitsune for that last stunt. "What was that for, runt?! You could have gotten me killed."

"But you're still alive. We have three left, don't we, Kagome?"

"Yeah, just get those goat horns on."

Inuyasha swallowed and put the goat horns on and posed for the camera once more. Kagome grinned. "Just two more and we're done."

"Keh, can't wait til it's over."

Prompt: Aquarius

Kagome gave Inuyasha a nice jar of water for the Aquarius picture. "You look good, Inuyasha. Now just hold onto the jar and start pouring the water ontothe pail. Flex your muscles a little while you're doing it."

Inuyasha sighed as he poured the water onto the pail, flexing his muscles while Kagome got the perfect shot. He shook his head. "What are you doing about the pail?"

"The pail will be retouched out. You know I'm going to do a little Photoshop work on these."

"Fine. Is this the last one?"

"Nope, just one more."

"Keh, I better get a mate out of this."

"Don't worry. You just might."

Prompt: Pisces

"Is this the last one?"

"Yes, Inuyasha. Oh, come on, you should do this more often."

Inuyasha growed. "Fine. Shippo, get your butt over here and work your magic and no more funny stuff."

Shippo bowed. "Yes, oh Impatient One." With a spell, a tank appeared around Inuyasha. At the same time, a fishtail appeared where his legs were. Inuyashathen swam and posed with a "come hither" look. Kagome squealed and got the perfect shot.

"All done." Inuyasha sighed with relief after the tank and the fishtail disappeared.

"Yeah! Freedom!"

"That wasn't so bad now, was it?"

"No, now that we're done."

"I might need you again though."

"For what?"

"I was thinking about doing a Chinese Zodiac calendar next."

At this, Inuyasha fainted.
