Chapter One – Dumb.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
“That's it darling, hold that pose.” A man exclaimed from behind a camera lens. The person who he spoke to was casually posing before him. Her sharp gray eyes clear and a happy smile was on her lips. Her long wavy black hair tease up flowed around her face, framing it.
Kagome smiled more, She couldn't be happier, she was living her dream career. She was currently working with the very famous and legendary Takahoshi Keito, photographer extraordinaire. Anything he took a photo of came out beautiful, no matter the object of the photo.
Kagome moved into the next position the man asked of her, leaning against a Grecian pillar. Once Kagome was certain he was happy with the way she posed she held it.
Kagome worked hard to reach this point and she wasn't about to mess it up. She had gone from humble, clumsy shrine miko to famous model in a year. A long, hard year of non stop working.
The man let out a satisfied noise before turn to his assistant. “That should be good for this shoot.” He turned back to her and smiled widely.
“Just when I didn't think you could get better, you prove me wrong.” He told her.
“Thank you, Takahoshi- san.” The girl answered in her sweet melodious voice with a slight bow.
“Oi, Kags. Get your butt moving, you have to be at the interview in twenty minutes.” A rough voiced called to her from the side of the stage. The girl bowed her thanks again to the photographer, before joining her fast talking manager.
His long silver hair was tamed in a high pony tail making the two fluffy dog ears stick out all the more so, marking his heritage as a hanyou. His gold eyes were narrowed and his pace was rather fast as he lead her through the studio.
He was dressed in a red button up shirt with no tie and black slacks with black dress shoes. The red shirt was well fitted but not skin tight to his well muscled torso.
He was indeed a handsome man, but his rough manners and scowling looks often deterred the most daring of people from looking at him for to long, or even wanting to speak to the hanyou for long.
He was also the reason she had become a model. His job as her manager and agent was a tough one but he seemed to enjoy it.
“How is it my fault you didn't schedule enough time between sessions, Inuyasha.” She asked, irritation flashing across her face.
They exited the studio only to barraged with camera flashed and hollering reporters.
“Oi, woman, don't be smart with me.” He grumbled as he hustled her into the waiting limo.
“Would you rather I be dumb?” She asked innocently as soon as he was seated and the door shut.
“You know what I meant!” He growled to her.
“Oh, do I?” She smiled for real this time. She did enjoy poking fun at her surly manager.
“Kagome!” He growled, not looking at her. He leaned up yo speak with a driver and give him direction.
After a few moments passed, Inuyasha spoke again. “It would be easier if you were.” he murmured.
Kagome caught his sentence anyway. “Excuse me?”
“I said, it would be easier if you were.” He replied.
Her eyes narrowed dangerously. “If I was what?”
He missed his cue, blundering on. “Dumb.”
“INUYASHA!” she yelled lunging from her seat to his, ready to strangle him, manager or not.
