The Lost Daughter Of The Great Lord by Nights

The Black Wolf with a Jewel.

    As usual, Inuyasha and his pack walked on a lonely dirt rode in the middle of a small forest, every one arguing. Shippo and Inuyasha screaming at each other on who gets to eat the last bag of chips. Sango and Miroku arguing about bearing his children. And kagome, walking way behind with kilala on her shoulder, avoiding to get in one of their arguments. Last time, she got a bald spot cause of Inuyasha and Shippo. Inuyasha started chasing Shippo ready to beat him to a pulp when Shippo jumped onto Kagome's shoulder but ened up hanging onto her hair becuase Inuyasha had caught him from the his tail. Inuyasha pulled while Shippo did the same to Kagome's hair, and ended up ripping her hair out almost, but it was enough to see her scalp so she ended up wearing a hat everywhere until some of her hair grew back to cover her scalp.

"KAGOME! Who gets the chips!!" Inuyasha and Shippo screamed at her while both not daring to let go of the bag.

"For kami sake! Can't you both share!?" She said not even inching closer to them, scared she might lose more than her hair this time.

"NO!" Both screamed again.

    Kagome tired of their fight, dropped her bag to the floor along with kilala and rushed up to them, snatched the bag and threw it into the river beside the road.

"Why did you do that stupid wench!" Inuyasha screamed.

"First of all Inuyasha, that is not my name an-" She stopped, standing very still and her eyes blood shot.

"Ka-gome?" Inuyasha said frighten by her pose.

"I feel a jewel shard, close, with a very powerful arua protecting it!" Kagome said a bit frighten.

"Kagome, if its just a jewel shard why are you so scared?" Miroku asked, coming closer to them with Sango by his side.

"This demon that has the jewel, is not normal. It feels,..strange, too strange!" Kagome said.

"Well what eva it is! Its going to die today!" Inuyasha said and drew his sword, readying him self for battle."which way is the jewel Kagome!"

"Its coming from.... that way! And its very close now!" She said ponting West.

   Just as she let her arm fell down by her side, a hiddeous, black huge wolf jumped out in front of the rode. Its eyes were red and blood-shot. Its huge, white fangs showing while growling and drooling. Kagome saw the jewel embedded in its forehead.

"Inuyasha! the jewel is in his forehead!" She screamed to him.

"Thats all I need to know!" He said and ran toward the wolf with his sword raised, ready to strike the wolf in its head. The wolf picked up its head and caught the sword in its huge jaws. 

"WHAT THE HELL!!" Inuyasha screamed. The wolf then swung his head to the side so quick and hard that it send Inuyasha flying into a tree, crashing with it. It then swung its head again to the other side and threw the sword into the river.

"Inuyasha! Are you ok!?" Kagome said worried and prepared her bow and arrow.

"Yea! Stay out of this! This thing is going to die by me!" He said getting up, rubbing the back of his head.

"Stupid dog, he's going to get himself killed by that thing without his sword" Sango said.

   Kagome acknowledge what she said and threw her bag and bow with arrow to the floor and rushed into the river to get his sword.

"What is she doing!?" Both Miroku and Shippo said looking at Kagome going down into the river.

"Stupid! Get back up here!" Inuyasha said and went to go get her but the wolf stood in his way.

   Kagome saw the now rusty sword in the river, glistening in the sun. A smiled appeared in her face relieved, knowing that Inuyasha would get his sword back. She jumped into the river and shivered at the slight coldness of the water. She walked toward the sword, the water slowly creeping up.

"Listen, you Half-Breed!" The wolf suddenly said to him. Sango, Miroku, and Shippo stared in shock and kilala hissed.

"Eerhh! What the hell do want!!" Inuyasha screamed.

"Half-Breed, I have a proposition for you." The wolf said in a deep gurgurling voice.

"Yea, well what is it!" He asked ready to fight the wolf.

"I have your dear lover, Kikyo, captive with me" He began saying. "I will give you this ten jewel shards and let Kikyo go if"

"If what!" Inuyasha said angriliy.

"If.... you give me the girl Kagome." It said now chuckling a little. Kagome, who had now retrieved the sword, stood behind the wolf, worried that Inuyasha Would accept.

"Well?" The wolf asked.

"And you'll let Kikyo go?" Inuyasha said, looking sadly at the wolf.

"Yes, of course. Just as long as you give me the girl Kagome." It said again.

"Inuyasha! Dont you dare agree!" Yelled Sango.

"Be quiet! If you knew how I feel about Kikyo, you do the same thing!" Inuyasha said yelling.

"Fine, give me the jewel shards and let kikyo go and...t-take Kagome..." He said sadly looking down.

"Inu-inuyashaaaaaa!" Kagome screamed and dropped the sword to the floor, and began crying.

"I'm sorry" He said.

    The wolf then spat ten jewel shards infront of Inuyasha's feet and turned around, grabbing Kagome by the back of her collar shirt and took her flying into the air.

"I HATE YOU INUYASHAAAA!" Kagome screamed, crying. Inuyasha just looked down at the shards sadly. 'What have I done?!' He thought.
