Happy Holidays

This was from a small IDDN for christmas eve. I only saw/got 4 prompts but I made it work. Enjoy!

Sugar

Teal color eyes peered around cautiously as Shippou searched for his target. Currently his, kaa-san was busy decorating the living room, so the sugar cookies were fair game.

Following his nose, he went over to the pantry where the scent of heaven seemed to wait. A tiny hand reached out and slowly opened the pantry door.

Kageme's attention was caught with a shriek of surprise from the kitchen. Running to the doorway, she paused before laughing at the sight of her kit covered with water and flour.

A chuckle came from behind her as striped wrists wrapped around her,"Told you it would work if he tried it."

Twinkle

Turning in her mate's arms, Kagome leaned up and kissed his cheek. "Okay, this time you were right." She smiled at him before grabbing something from the back of her waistband and popping the santa cap on his head.

His eyes narrowed playfully as his hands grabbed her hips, baring his teeth sand snapping them. "You should know better than to put something like that on this Sesshoumaru."

Wickedness began to twinkle in his eyes as his fingers twitched along her sides.

Kagome let out a shriek of laughter as her youkai tickled her, tears welling up before he relented, leaning down to kiss her nose.

Merry

A cheerful smile spread over Kagome's face as she pulled away from Sesshoumaru. Giving a wink, she went to go give Shippou a bath, hoping the flour didnt clump too terribly in his hair and tail.

Drawing his bath, she filled it with one of his favorite bubble-scents. After calling her son, she waiting, humming yet another merry Christmas tune that had been playing through her mind. As her kit ran in with his sister Rin, she scooped him up for a hug before plopping him in the tub, clothes and all.

They giggled at his little shriek of surprise before Kagome gave them both real baths.

Bright

Kagome yawned as she rested on the couch with her mate, leaning into the solid comfort of his form. Shippou's tail finally got cleaned of wet flour clumps, and Rin was an easy going child and went to bed easily.

Flicking through channels via remote, she paused when she saw chipmunks singing and dancing with bright happy faces. With a grin, she set the remote aside to watch one last movie before grabbing Sesshoumaru's glass of eggnog, stealing a gulp and earning a playful glare.

She beamed at him before the settled back to watch their movie before they retreated for the night, anticipating the fun tomorrow would bring her family for Christmas.
