Prologue: Earth Bound

Kagome looked out over Japan again and gasped at what she saw. Finally there was something different! A dog demon lord had actually fallen in love with a human princess! Oh how exciting!

Kagome leaned forward to see if she could get a better look, but instead she fell of her cloud and out of heaven and down to earth. Kagome regained from her shock and used her wings to land safely on the ground outside the shiro where the demon and his lady lay. She decided that she had to meet this demon. She walked over to the closest tree, being mindful of her white dress that flowed in the evening breeze.

She didn't have to wait long before the demon landed outside the walls without making a sound. She smiled and walked over to him. "Hello."

The Great Inu No Tashio looked at the strange girl before him. She was small and had pure white wings. He sniffed the air. She was holy, though she was not a priestess. She wasn't human or demon. "What are you?"

Kagome giggled. "I am an angel. My name is Kagome. I must say that you are the first demon I have ever seen to actually not murder a human being. I got a little excited and leaned to far over my portal to this world and fell through it."

The Western Lord nodded his head. That would explain it. An idea popped into his head. "Angel, would you watch over my Izyoi for me?"

Kagome smiled an even bigger smile. "It would be an honor, Milord!"  The Lord lifted an eyebrow. "Well I do know some of the rules for the land of the living. I want to be one of your royal subjects."

The Western Lord smiled. "That is acceptable."

1 Year Later

Kagome had learned many things in the year that she had been looking after Izyoi. She made her wings disappear within herself and now the only wings anyone saw was the markings of them on her back. She was waiting for Inu No Tashio to make his appearance. The child would be born soon. Kagome heard shouts and knew that he had arrived. Things became a blur after that. The Western Lord defending Izyoi and the new born named Inuyasha. The Western Lord had her get Inuyasha and Izyoi out of the burning shiro and to a safe place. That was the last thing she ever heard from her Lord again.

A couple nights later, Myoga came to her and told her what she had to do. Kagome took the Tessaiga and flew to world in between worlds and hid there with the fang and inside her lord's body. Waiting for the day Inuyasha would come for it.
