Hello People who go on my profile.
I am known on Fanfiction as Mizuki99 for the time being... it's due to change soon. I suppose I should explain myself... but in order to do that I need to explain what my dislikes and likes are as both a reader and a writer.
My likes as a SesshyKagome reader-
- I love stories where Kagome is turned into a youkai. Something about the idea of being forced to adapt to a new life and slowly catching the interest of Mr. Fluffy is entertaining.
- I adore stories that have Sesshomaru questioning Kagome's sanity because she does not fear him. She sees no reason to fear him... yes, she finds him intimidating but if you were standing in the presence of a humanoid that could easily snap your tiny body in two, you'd probably be intimidated too. And something about the whole "Intimidating Love Complex" just sends me into a whirl... unfortunately these stories always end in tragedy or undisclosed endings... usually they never end up together. I have yet to find one that flows smoothly.
My dislikes as a SesshyKagome reader-
- I absolutely hate Alternate Universe (AU) fics. They are usually unorginal and out of character. And by AU I mean stories like Sesshomaru being a human business man and Kagome being his lawyer or secretary. As long as they are based in the Feudual Era and there are demons, I do not care.
- Sesshomaru is very hard to keep in character... I know this. But Sesshomaru, when he has his aloof facade up, is emotionless, cold and... well... Sesshomaru is Sesshomaru. Underneath it all, he does feel emotion but he doesn't show it. I don't like it when people allow him to get so out of character he is mistaken for someone else. He is not like Inuyasha and Koga.
- I don't like it when Inuyasha is the antagonist but when he tries to split them up- not because he loves her but because he hates Mr. Fluffy- it gives for an open plot.
Some key pointers about my writing style-
- If you plan on reading my stories, I do not mind constructive criticism. I am still young and I have yet to completely come up with a writing style on my own.
- I can write fight scenes but do not expect them to be as descriptive as those professional writers. I have yet to graduate High School.
- Lemons are a sharply definite maybe. I... get flushed when I write a lemon. It's more based on personal experiences and... one cannot write a detailed lemon... at least not a very good one... if they are still virgins themselves.
- I do not write AU stories. I don't care if they are original or not. I will not write them and I will not read them. End of Story.
- I have several plunnies that like to pop up... but then they are gone and it takes a little bit for them to pop up again. I may lose interest in a story but that does not mean I will discontinue it. I will go on a short haitus to get my juices flowing again before I continue writing.
Now that my dislikes, likes and writing style has been generally described... I can tell you some more personal things.
My name is Miranda and I am a Junior in High School. I live in California and go to the beach when I have gas in my car and it's not cold out. I like all sorts of different anime but I signed up here for my Inuyasha fanism.
I don't speak any other languages fluently enough to hold a conversation but the occasional slur and mix of languages is doomed to happen. When I am disgusted in something I generally use "Cochino" or "Cochina" meaning 'nasty' or 'gross'. If I become shocked I'll revert to Japanese and say something like "Nani" or when my mother calls me "Nandaiyou" the latter meaning "What was that?" or "What do you want?" and the former being "What?" or "Huh?"
If you don't like this, too bad. I do it for my own personal entertainment. Eventually I do plan on picking up a few languages but at the moment, that is not possible.
I have too much free time and I am an insomniac. I am on homestudies so when I'm not doing homework, I am drawing pictures, writing or cleaning the forsaken mess that is my bedroom. |
