Maybe the strange thoughts came from the concussion. Maybe the thoughts had always been there but supressed by the hectic schedule as she tried to fulfill all her responsibilities. Maybe being trapped with nothing else to do was to blame. Or could it be the nearness of that fluffy thing that graced the shoulder of the demon that sat beside her in the dark.
