Wow, This is really one of the best fanfictions I have ever had the pleasure of reading. I loved the way you made kagome real, it was so well written that you felt like you could "feel" what she was feeling.
All the way down to the small details, a beautiful story to the very last word.

I really love this story! You have desribed all of the canon characters the way that I think Takahashi meant for them to come across as and I love "Keiji". I'm glad that you avoided demonizing Inu Yasha; his true perspective came out and there was still plenty of room to move on to the new relationship in Kagome's life.
The explanation part was a little hard to follow, but it also came across as someone who was remembering and it gave me an idea of how your writing style would flow. Please keep going!
| What's not to be happy with?? This is an EXCELLENT chapter, complete with the little tell-tale signs that Kagome's "ghost" is, indeed, Sesshoumaru. It still leaves open the question, however, is he really a "ghost?" I, for one, feel you did a superb job of both making Kagome's birthday seem like the special occasion it would have been, as well as integrating Sesshoumaru's knowledge of her, as well as her family's, past. Please do NOT flog yourself over this ... the story still flows beautifully and things are humming right along! I'm wondering how I can wait until the next update ... ;) ~~Wiccan~~
