Hey, I never gave up on this fic...I had always hoped you'd finish and you did, triumphiantly. I cried so much at the ending that I was afraid I wouldn't be able to go on. My eyes were sooo blurry. And when he told her to make her wish that the jewel felt the evil and corruption in this era too and she just remained quiet and asked for him to walk with her...my heart started thumping so hard. I actually thought you might be one who made them not actually be together in the end as lovers but loving friends. The wish was a wonderful way to give back to Sesshoumaru all the love he was to her. He may not have been one to say it but she knew it and she trusted him to keep the jewel safe. Wow, he let her be with another male when he could have come to her sooner. He really did learn the meaning of life and love. He did his father proud and you did us proud. Hugs, JEN

When I started reading this chapter, I was so scared it would end like "Tales from the House of Moon" and she would die or they wouldn't be together, but I loved how you made them be together without it being oh-so convenient. It was a beautiful story, full of romance, and lots of angst, I love angst and it made it just all the sweeter!

Oh, you make me want to cry! I love that ending. It was...telling...how he let her have the children. Yet also so frustrating that he had made that decision for her!

But, as Kagome said, they earned the wish for a renewed chance together. An eternity, or as long as Sesshoumaru wants. Which, I imagine, will be filled with lust, love and laughter.

I'm glad you decided to go this route rather than the sad one. Thank you so much for finishing it as well, since I know it became a bit of an albatross for you.

wow... this is the first fic that i have read that has ever left me feeling so raw. That was beautifully woven... it is almost unbelievable how skillfully you captured the varying emotions... everything seemed almost too real.

And the plot thickens... The curse was pretty fitting, and quite unique. The witch made ME cackle! She's hilarious! In chapter 7, I loved the part where Sesshoumaru tired of her, formulated an exact plan in his mind and then systematically executed that plan! HA!

Anyway, I'm really enjoying this story. I like the way you've taken your time in portraying Kagome's confusion and Sesshoumaru's inability to express his feelings. It's very convincing, which is very unusual for this type of story. This is one of the few stories in which 'the mutual lust morphs into love' premise actually works. I love how you've crafted this story and highlighted all the right elements, breathing life into it with a heavy dose of humanity. This story just seems so natural (despite the curse!) to me. I could see this happening to three people in reality.

Love is a difficult concept, and you've bared it naked before our very eyes, showing us one of the many facets of it that makes it so damn hard.

I'm only half-way through this story, but I just had to stop to make a few comments.

Firstly, this story is gripping. It's erotic and dark and so damn real that it makes my heart flutter. I love stories that draw the emotion out of me and this has accomplished that. You write amazingly well. I am so impressed with your execution of this concept so far.

Secondly, you handle Inuyasha better than anyone. His conflicting emotions are so natural, as though you were him - a fly on the wall of his heart. He feels so betrayed, yet he carries part of that burden himself. Maybe, if only...what if he had paid her more attention? I found that so beautifully real that it struck me as though I were a towering tree, solitary, in an open field during a nasty bout of lightning. Thank you for taking the time to examine how a real man may have approached such a sensitive situation.

Thirdly, I loved the way you approached her innocence. This seems to be a recurring theme in this fandom, but so poorly explored. Where there is light, there is dark, the only exception being emptiness. Shadows are born from blockages of light after all.

I adore this story, no, I LOVE this story so far. I can't wait to read the next five chapters.

It's great to see an update from you on this story. It's getting really interesting now! Wonderful job, as usual.

I really like this and I think it is one of your better fics. The emotion in the story has good clarity. I think you should continue with it and see where it takes you.

Chapter 7
WOW! JMJ-what a curse! Somehow, I don't believe Sesshoumauru not caring about the inability of not ever having a child. It's one thing to prevent having one and it's another having that option taken away. I'm not sure why he accused Kagome of being a liar. Was it because he could feel her desire in wanting to be a mother someday?

Chapter 6.
The conflicts are so true to life. Inuyasha's courageous emotional confrontation, gives me reason to believe, that it was done because of what happened. All the previous times, he was always chasing after Kikyo. Therefore, Kagome stayed behind feeling hurt because no matter what- his heart belonged to someone else. It's nobody's fault- it's what it is. But, now there is someone else and Inuyasha wants her and is ready to be with her?! How typical. Suddenly, he realizes that Kagome is alive and Kikyo is a reflection of her former self. His love for Kagome is not what I doubt but his decision to be her. He was unintentionally placed in a competition for her love and that why I am questioning the real motive. On the other hand, I could be wrong. I'll talk about Sesshoumaru later.

Chapter 5.
I have so many theories regarding Sesshoumaru's so call hatre toward humans and I have to say this is one, in particular, is good.
He is struggling so hard against his true feeling for Kagome and it's very moving to watch it unfold. In my opinion, he is in love but he doesn't want to be. Love is so...simple , sometimes hard to believe, joyful and miserable,so complicated, but most importantly its life's sweetest reward. You captured the elements of it so beautifully.

I really like this story alot. Can you please write some more chapters?

chapter 4.
I love the entire depiction of Kagome and her friends. The empowerment she received by their advise was rewarding. Yes, Hojo is included.
Feudal Japan: Her declarations was one level shy of a smack down. I loved it.
The whole Sesshoumaru meeting was NICE!

What an emotional rollercoaster ride. Well done.
