Ah we're back to Kagome. That was quite a cliffhanger you left us at in the Sengoku Era. Anyway, this must be hard on Kagome. Trying to fit back in and be someone you're obviously not anymore. Especially after maturing so many years in the past and coming back to an earlier age. Hmm looking forward to Kagome's interaction with the future Kikyou.
Obsesshun- Thu 24 Apr 2008
Alright, you know who I am -- I am using "Obsesshun" from now on for consistency with past usage on other websites!! So glad to see these two chapters, I was missing Kagome. Now I see that this story could possibly be very different from your ff version, and that is exciting! That name at the end really shocked me. What I like most about your story is that the characters have great depth, and that you have thought out their situations and psyches very thoroughly. So whether it follows the old story line closely or not, I am enjoying it. I'll keep checking for updates, as this is one of my favorite bookmarks.

Inner Dementia- Mon 21 Apr 2008
I remember reading this back on fanfiction.net when it was first posted and I loved it, despite all of its flaws. Now, when I managed to by chance find out that this story had once again been reposted, I was so happy, but now that I've read the revised version, I must say I'm a bit iffy.
I'm not sure if it was like this in your old version, but this chapter read very choppy and lacked the fluidity the other one had. You delved more in-depth on each of the character's psyche and this one has things strangely absent. The background provided by Inuyasha's betrayal would have been better had it been left in here.
Also, in your descriptions you frequently re-use the same word over and over again, something your betas should catch. After a while, whatever you were trying to explain/describe to us starts to lost its effect due to this repetition.
While your old story was long, it was elaborately crafted, and brought great insight to certain actions, events, and characters. I'm hoping you didn't change that much of it, but to be honest, I thought it worked very well in the old one.
I'm not trying to sound like a pretentious know-it-all writer, but I'm offering my criticism and notations that I picked up through this first chapter. Anyway, I'll be continuing on my way to the next chapter now.
I just finished catching up on your story. It is really interesting - well written, dark in places, and definitely unique. I was so angry at Inuyasha, but then he has suffered so much for his decision. I wonder about Kagome and Luna and how the girl got where she is in the future. I also felt terrible about poor Rin! And Sesshomaru was so valiant, trying to save her from her suffering. It was a heart wrenching moment. I look forward to the upcoming chapters. Thanks for the read!

I find the past so interesting. The entire back story surrounding Luna is so intriguing. Yes, Inuyasha must be cursed for loving 3 women who share the same soul. I look forward to reading about Kagome and Sesshomaru in the future, but for now I thoroughly enjoy Inuyasha and Luna. That's saying a lot since I usually dislike Inuyasha. I really like your characterization of him here. He's so much more mature due his terrible mistakes.
-Pulls out a shot gun-
You will sit down at your desk and begin to type right now.
-Pulls the grip back hearing it give a loud resounding click-
I will not tolerate such a long wait till your next chapter.
-Aims the barrel of the gun towards Crystal's head-
Start typing now or you'll lose an ear or maybe your nose there.
-Pulls back the trigger firing the gun-
O.O
-Watches as water spouts out of the barrel hitting the woman directly in the eat drowning her ear in cold water.-
Had you going, didn't I?
Now I know I did, lmao!
Okay, but I seriously need you to update I'm dying to find out what happens next!
-Pulls the gun to her own head and fires it only to have water shooting in her own ear-
COLD!
Okay please update soon!!!
Please!

I Love this story but I also love the original one. I was surprise to see you revising it but I'm glad you're back to finish it. Thanks for returning

I have to say that I liked the old version better. Even though it was sometimes a bit messy and confusing. The story is focused too much on Luna and the past. I'd much rather read about Kagome and the changes++. (it might also be because i've never liked Luna . never have and never will. DX there's just something about her that really rubs me the wrong way ;p) Can't wait for the future (^___^)
Wow, I repeat... Wow!
You have written a touching fiction, but a question comes to mind. What about Kagome?
I know she is in her time a demon that Inuyasha was suppose to become, but will she be coming back into the past some how?
I'm just mulling over unanswered thoughts and it just keeps repeating in my head 'What about Kagome?' You know how annoying it gets when the same question or thought keeps reoccuring nonstop.
Well, let's see Naraku has come back mixed with other souls and wants Kagome, but what for? I'm litteraly on the edge of my seat, mind you my rearend does not like it at all, but I must know what will happen next, so please do not leave me waiting too long!
Ja Ne!

I'm extremely happy to see an update though. For a moment there, I was getting nervous that you'd taken off on us again. But you didn't! ::pumps fist into air::
My heart always twists when I read about how Sesshoumaru kills Rin. It's so heartbreaking what happened to her. ::le sigh::
I can't help but hate Sango a little in this. But I understand the circumstances so I love her and hate her. What's strange though is that I don't know how to feel about Luna. Maybe I'll be able to sort it out in later chapters. I do enjoy all the background being given to these characters though, it makes them seem more real, less perfect.
Well, I can't say that I'm not dying to read when Sesshoumaru and Kagome meet in the future because I'm practically on my deathbed waiting to read if that scene's changed or not! Damn, I feel like such a fangirl right now. You've got me hooked, on the edge of my seat.
So update soon but I'll wait forever and then some for this story of yours because yeah, you're that good.

This story is really interesting and all, but what of Kagome?
Neo-Crystal- Sat 08 Mar 2008
What happened to kagome? did she fall off the face of the earth? PLEASE SAY SHE WILL BE GOING BACK TO THE FEDUAL ERA BEFORE THE WELL WAS DESTROYED!!!
bonnie- Fri 07 Mar 2008
Alright, 3 more chapters!!! I check for new chapters every day, and here are three! I missed reading about Kagome (from the old story) but the feudal time description is much more satisfyingly detailed than before. Please keep writing and posting. Thanx!
I never read the original but I expected more about Kagome and less about the past. Interesting though.
Neo-Crystal- Thu 21 Feb 2008
I'm so sad that the other version was deleted! It took me this long to find any trace of you or the story! So you are not going to continue the other version at all?? I still like this version and its cool to see the past version. Are you going to have kagome go back to the past as a demon? plz say you are!!!!! I want to see the reaction of everyone. Is the shikon going to come alive again? Do you have a list for people who want to know when you update? I wish to be on it. UPDATE SOON!!!!
Selah- Fri 15 Feb 2008
This is so much better. The grammer is flawless, the spelling was obviously looked over very well. Well done. You did so much more with the first chapter. You asked questions and answered them, as well as leaving some open for future chapters. 3
It does, of course, still cycle around the completely overused idea of Demon!Kagome, but hopefully you can throw some new spark in to the idea.
Never, never let a flamer cause you to remove anything or delete anything.. your story, the original, is one of the most loved stories I've heard people talk about.
It makes me so very angry that anyone would flame you to the extent that you would remove it -- but that it would affect you such that you deleted it, is heartbreaking.
Don't ever let anyone do that to you again, please. For your own sake - of course for your own sake -- but secondarily, for your readers, those who love what you write and were extremely saddened by the loss of a story they loved.
terrasenpai- Tue 15 Jan 2008
WOW! I remember falling upon the first edition of this before it was taken down off of FF.net. I'm so glad that I have found some of it, but you have no idea how much it pains me -- that some jerks came out of no where to harass you and your opinions. 'To Wash It All Away' was the piece that inducted me to Sesshoumaru and Kagome shipping. I cannot wait until you post some more of it. Don't make me wait to long; I might die from the anticipation.
Jean- Fri 11 Jan 2008
I avidly followed your original story and now I have read your rewrite. Your changes are quite interesting. It certainly explains the mystic surrounding Luna, who I thought was a rare female monk. I am glad she no longer is blond with darker skin. I can understand holy people being different, but that was just too different. I also like the frequent interaction between Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha without it being riddled with hate. I am curious to see what you are going to do with Kagome in the future.
faye- Fri 11 Jan 2008
This is very good. Are you going to show us how Kagome is, or are you going to keep progressing in Sesshoumaru's time until he reaches the future? I'll be watching for your next chapter.
i'm such a crazy fangirl of this story, you have no idea! and i absolutely adore this version, if only because you go more in depth and more in detail as to what happened with everything in the past. i have to admit though, i'm itching to read about when sesshoumaru and kagome meet in the present. i'm practically dying in anticipation. loved the chapters as they're always so wonderfully written! i'm looking forward to reading more so update soon!
-hasu86
I still love this story. I was deeply disappointed when it disappeared. I still want to know what the review said that was so horrible to make you remove it and edit it.
Well I am just happy you are reposting it and I am sure it will still be just as wonderful as the last time
fireproof potatoes- Mon 19 Nov 2007
You know, earlier today I was in the mood to re-read your story on fanfiction.net and you wouldn't believe my surprise when I couldn't find it! I think you were up to about 52 chapters on that site. I remember being extremely impressed with your story so i searched and searched and eventually found it here. I am really glad I found it, but I wonder, why did you take it off ff.net?
I am so happy!! This fic has returned to us!! Thank you so much for posting it here on A-Single-Spark. I absolutely love the first chapter!
KyouFan17- Fri 26 Oct 2007
Hi. I'm sorry about what happened on FF.net. It really sucks that your story was removed because of a stupid flamer. That's what I hate about FF.net. Hecklers and flamers can harass you and get your story deleted, and the ff.net staff won't even investigate before they take your story off the site. I have seen many quit writing because of ff.net unfairly deleting their stories b/c of a flamer. But I'm glad you didn't give up. I still love your story, and wait anxiously for some new chapters. Take your time, and don't feel rushed.^^
You're back!! That's wonderful!!!! I hope you continue to write!! Loving your story as I did before!
Update soon!!

It's nice to see you posting again darling. I was pretty angry to hear about the flamer on FF.net. But still, I'm happy that you are posting here now. I get to read it all over again. [not that I already didn't do that]
I'm glad that you have decided to return to writing. I followed your story from the beginning and I can't wait to see what changes you have made to the story. Cheers^^
I think I almost had a heart attack many moons ago when I discovered that TWIAA was no longer on my favorite stories list on ff.net. I then went to your profile and discovered the disheartening news that you weren't going to post it there anymore. But then I see this here and I have another almost heart attack!
Haha, I'm happy that you decided to post this here though, as I've been following this story of yours ever since it first began. I decided to re-read the current chapters you have posted and I couldn't help but notice that some things are different from what I remember. Either that or my memory's failing me already. I know you mentioned doing some editing. Was the kiss scene between Sesshoumaru and Kagome lengthened? I remember her just running up to him and kissing him and then running away like 2 secs after. Not that I'm complaining though, I really enjoyed it! lol.
But all that aside, I'm looking forward to this revamped version of TWIAA. It's exciting and completely motivating to see THE story that truly made me fall in love with this pair up and running again.
I wait with bated breath for the next update!

I am sooooooo glad to see you back I have been a fan of this story for so long. I was very sad and angry at how the flamer mistreated you. You should know that even though that person would stoop so low as to harass you there are your true fans out there (myself included ^_^) who will follow your story till the end and will support you no matter what site you post it on. Thank you for continuing with this spectacular story.

I just had to share how glad I am to see you reposting this. This story was one of the few that set me onto the path of Sesshomaru/Kagome fics. Quite the delight and I look forward to revisting this as you post it again. A complete joy. Thank you for sharing this again.
Oh wow. I remember this fic from forever ago! I can't wait to reread it with all the revisions etc. ^^
