Unbreakable Love by HaySny
True Love
"When can I see you again?"
"You'll see me when the time is right."
"But it's so hard to be with you because you two hate each other so much, and he would never allow me to be with you."
"I know, but we will be together forever someday. I promise."
"But how can you be sure?"
"This is true love. You think this happens everyday?"
"Kagome! Where are you? You've been gone for at least an hour!"
"Oh no! I have to go!"
"Good-bye Kagome."
"Good-bye Sesshoumaru." They let their lips lock for a second, and then Kagome ran off into the distance to return to Inuyasha.
"I'm back." Said Kagome, panting.
"Where have you been all this time? You were getting me worried." Said Inuyasha, as Kagome burst through the door.
"I'm sorry, Inuyasha, but I was just taking a walk, and I lost track of the time." Kagome lied.
"It's okay, I was just worried, that's all." Said Inuyasha, gently. "At least you're here now. I don't know what I would do if something ever happened to you." Inuyasha moved closer to Kagome. She took a few steps backwards. He leaned in closer to her. She was backed up against a wall. She had no where to go. Inuyasha's lips touched Kagome's. Kagome didn't want to kiss Inuyasha, but she couldn't do anything about it. Inuyasha did this often, and Kagome didn't like it. Kagome loved Sesshoumaru, not Inuyasha. Inuyasha loved Kagome though, and he thought that she loved him back. Inuyasha finally drew back from Kagome, and stepped back. Kagome was very relieved that he had stopped kissing her.
"Umm... I think I'm going to go to bed now." Said Kagome. "I'm getting tired." She lied. Kagome wasn't the least bit tired, but she just wanted to be alone right now. Kagome thought painfully about Sesshoumaru, and how she barely ever got to see him. She always thought about him. She thought about him when she was awake, and when she was asleep. But she could never tell anyone that she loved Sesshoumaru. She couldn't even tell Miroku, Sango, or Shippou. It had to be a total secret. It was so hard to keep something like this a secret. But what Kagome hated most, was that Inuyasha loved her. Kagome didn't love Inuyasha, but she didn't have the heart to tell him that she didn't. Inuyasha always kissed her, he always looked after her, and he was always so sincere to her. It's not like he wasn't a good guy or anything, because he was always so truthful, and that's what Kagome like about him so much. When Kagome first met Inuyasha, she thought that she loved him, but then she met Sesshoumaru, and she knew that he was the one for her. But, Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru hated each other. In fact, they wanted to kill each other, and Kagome didn't want either of them to die. Sesshoumaru was her love, but Inuyasha was her best friend. She didn't know what to do. If Inuyasha ever found out that she and Sesshoumaru were together, he would surely go try to kill him. And Kagome was not going to let that happen. Sesshoumaru had promised Kagome that they would someday be together forever, but Kagome didn't see how that could be possible. At least not as long as Inuyasha was around, because as far as Inuyasha could tell, he loved Kagome, and Kagome loved him back, and he wasn't going to let anything interfere with that love. Kagome didn't want to have to lie to Inuyasha. She hated lying to him. She wanted to be true to him. But she had to lie. It was the only way.
