Aishiteru by Miko's Sorrow

Aishiteru

This is the insane rambling of my half-awake mind. It sounded ok so I thought I’d post it. I wrote it at like 2 or 3 in the morning.

Aishiteru (Don’t have any idea why I named it this by the way.)

She knew ‘happily ever after’ was only for the fairytales.

She wasn't real anymore.

Her pain was bone-deep.

Her loneliness was an ache in the pit of her stomach.

She wanted to be able to feel again she really did.

Her soul had died.

Her body lived on.

It was sad.

No one knew.

No one knew she wasn't there anymore.

No one knew she was sick.

She was normal to everyone else.

She went through the motions.

She watched her friends marry and have children.

She watched her as friends aged.

She watched them wrinkle and fade.

She watched as her skin stayed smooth, that of a seventeen year olds.

She watched death come for them.

No one knew she cried anymore.

All they saw were her smiles.

They believed them real.

No one new… except him.

He saw beneath the surface.

Could it be because he was the same?

Could it be because he too watched the only thing he cared about fall to the curse of mortality?

Was it because he was lonely as well?

He felt the pain as well?

He felt the burden of immortality upon his shoulders too?

His was because of a sword.

Hers was caused by a jewel.

It was ironic.

One of her most hated enemies in the past was the one to make her feel again.

He helped her escape her prison of misery.

He made her feel something akin to a desire to live.

He gave her a purpose.

He… loved her.

Aishiteru Sesshoumaru.

Messah-I lied, this sucks. Oh well posting nonetheless. If you would be so kind as to review I would deeply appreciate it. C’mon I’ll give ya a cookie. I just want to know someone reads my stuff. Also could someone help me find a Japanese-ish name for my muse? I want to put him in one of my stories. His current name is Dante.

Dante- yes someone find me a name!! ::holds up sign: will work for name::

Messah- Oh, yeah to all those who review me. I am terribly sorry but I cannot reply to your reviews because my e-mail do-dad is being a royal pain. If you want me to, like really want me to, I’ll consider making this a series explaining. I realize the story is quite vague. If you review and say you want one then majority rules and if I get good suggestions or get inspiration, I will continue.

P.S. To all who review. You all get big cyber-cookies. Pick a flavour they change into your favorite. Net cookies rule huh?
