Shippo Has A Secret To Tell And Inuyasha Isn't Allowed To Know

It was a warm sunny summer's day in the Sengoku Jida and Kagome Higurashi was out picking herbs for Lady Keade,the village priestess,with her young fox demon pup,Shippo. Shippo was Kagome's adopted son and had come to be with her when she saved him the 'Thunder Brothers'. Kagome on the otherhand was a human from 500 years into the future. Shippo was eating a lollie pop while Kagome was picking medicinal herbs.

"Mamma do you when will you get married and get me a daddy and a sister or brother?"Shippo asked in an innocent voice.

"Oh Shippo I'm much too young to get married I'm only 18. In my time girls like me don't get married untill they're about 20 or older."Kagome said with a blush but looked down not looking at Shippo in the eyes and kept picking herbs.

He had been watching her for a long time. Kagome had infact grown stronger and had now controled most of her powers by controling her emotions when it counted the most but when she was by herself or with friends and family she was a carefree, pure, loving girl with wonderful dreams. What the demon didn't understand was how she travelled between times and not be followed by anyone else but Inuyasha into her magic well. He had been developing feeling for her over the past 3 years from the time they had first met when he had wanted Tetsuiga but it was only her, Kagome, who could pull it out. This had surprised him undoubtibly. Over the years he had been meeting with her in private. He had grown to know her very well and she had grown to know him aswell but she had also made him soft over the years.He no longer killed all who go in his way but gave them punishment for their crimes.

Kagome had been having dreams for the past few months that she didn't understand. In her dreams she was wearing a white and silver kimono, but she didn't look like herself at all. She had waist length long midnight blue hair, claws like Sesshomaru's and markings the same as him on her wrists, ankels and face. In her arms was a young child just born but you could tell it was a full demon.She was looking out at a beautiful sunset in a lovely garden and to her left was a man but she could never see his face but in her dreams she would always turn her head and look lovingly at him.

Kagome was too far into her own thoughts she didn't know anyone had snuck up on them until Shippo yelled to look behind her.

"You're not as quick as you used to be. Getting too old Kags?"Sesshomaru asked he hugged her from behind.

"You scared me Sesshy! I was thinking about a dream and there is no way I'm getting too old!" Kagome said as she turned and returned his hug.

All this time Shippo stood there staring at the two hugging laughing and talking like the were lovers. Shippo's lollie pop fell to the ground but he didn't care.He just kept staring at the two.He rubbed his eyes a couple times to make sure that this was real. Lord Sesshomaru the ice prince of the West was laughing hugging and talking to his mother. Shippo suddenly remembered he had brought the camera Kagome had given him for his birthday and took a couple picture.He neatly but quickly put one in his haori and took many more pictures but the 2 didn't seem tro notice they just kept talking and hugging and laughing.Shippo took about 10 pictures and ran as fast as he could to show Keade, Sango and Miroku but he would never show Inuyasha.He would never risk getting his mother unhappy.
