My heart has been

Torn apart and disowned

My heart beats empty

All alone

I've been broken and sold

And now I get the feeling

I'm alone

My hearts been left alone

To fend on it's own

On my own

My heart beats with

Every breath I take as my own

I'm growing old

Slowly it hurts more

Knowing I'm alone

My heart crys with each moment

On my own

With no one to hold

Or call my own

Growing old the beating of my heart slows

Lonelier the days grow colder

I feel alone

Now I'm old

All I hear

Is the beating of my heart

As you pray

That todays not the day

The day that I'm finally gone

From you, from your reach

My beating heart slows

It grows cold

Then I hear your words

They echo through the darkness

As I take one last breath

As my own

I no longer feel alone

It echo's off the walls

As your words are printed into my last thoughts

I never thought I could feel this way

But today I was proved wrong
