The Blind Date

"I don't know know about this Sango.."said Kagome, as stared into the reflection, in her mirror. "Don't worry Kagome."said Sango to her, as how this had started played threw her head.

"A blind what?!" Kagome exclaimed at Sango, "Clam down, kagome, you'll be fine!" Said sango to her, putting her hands up in defense. "I still can't believe your making me go threw with this, and who is this guy?!" Asked kagome, "If I told you that, it wouldn't be a blind date, now would it?" Replied sango. "That's helpful." Said kagome to her, sarcastically, as they walked towards kagome's house, kagome, turned away from sango, and waved, before she walked on.

"Well, I'm just happy I convinced you to come, sango."said Kagome to her. "Its no problem..the only, real problem, is that I have to bring that pathic excuse of a date, Miroku!"said Sango angrily. "Ha, you like him, and you know it." said Kagome with a smirk, "Don't start with me Kagome.."said Sango, slamming down a hair brush. Kagome giggled a bit then went back to her daydreams. 'who is this guy?' she thought 'I hope he's worth going out with...' she thought worried. 'Not like the last one......' thought Kagome.

"Merry Christmas Inuyasha!"said Kagome, handing him a box wrapped in colorful paper. "Thanks Kagome" Inuyasha said taking the box and kissing Kagome lightly on the cheek. "This is the best Christmas ever!" exclaimed Kagome waving her hands in the air. "why is this one better from the rest?" Inuyasha asked raising an eye brow. Kagome smiled at him "because I'm with you" she said looking up into his eyes. Inuyasha smiled at her and kissed her. "hey, I have to go meet up with somebody for a second, I'll be right back" Inuyasha said turning to walk away. Kagome nodded "all right, hurry back!" she said waving as she watched Inuyasha walk off towards the back of the house. Kagome sighed, and looked at her watch, "Its been twenty minutes, where could he be?" she asked herself. "hmmm...." She thought allowed as she got up and went in the direction Inuyasha went. Kagome came to a mahogany colored closed door. She raised an eye brow then put her ear up to the door. 'what the!?' she thought as she heard giggling and moaning coming from behind the door. "no..." she said as her eyes grew wide. Kagome burst through the door and gasped. She couldn't believe what was before her eyes. "KIKYO!? INUYASHA!?!" she yelled, her eyes filling up with tears. She saw Kikyo in nothing but a mini skirt and a hot pink bra, and Inuyasha shirtless. "K-Kagome!?!" stuttered Inuyasha, "I-it's not what it looks like!" he said walking towards her. Kagome backed away from him and burst into tears then ran out the door, pushing off Kikyo. Inuyasha merely stared at the door. Kikyo walked up and hugged him from behind. "don't worry...the little bitch got what she deserved...."

Kagome sighed at the thought of Kikyo and Inuyasha, then tried to shake the thought out of her head. The sound of a door bell could be heard throughout the house. "that's Miroku" Sango said standing up. "Are you ready?" Sango asked Kagome with a concerned look on her face. Kagome replied after a moments hesitation, "I'm ready" Sango nodded then walked towards the door. Sango was wearing a sleeveless dark red gown with her hair up in a bun and ruby earrings. Kagome was wearing a sky blue dress with flower imprints, her hair was down and she had a pearl necklace around her neck. "hey Miroku" Sango said opening the door for him. "my my Sango, don't you look lovely? Expecting to go somewhere after the dinner?" he said putting in her perverted smirk. Sango scowled at him. "let's not start the evening off by me slapping you!" Sango said bitterly. Miroku shrugged then turned to Kagome. "you look very nice yourself!" he said winking. "hey!" Sango exclaimed "can we just get out of here?!" Miroku chuckled "of course, of course." Kagome laughed a little. 'those two may seem to get on each others nerves at times, but they do care about each other.' She thought as she headed out for Miroku's car. Kagome got in the back seat while Miroku and Sango sat in the front (Miroku's driving). After a few minutes of driving, Kagome broke the silence. "so will you guys tell me who this guy is now!?" she asked ready to explode. "no" Miroku and Sango answered together. Kagome groaned and leaned back against the seat. "we're here!" said Miroku stopping the car. He got out and opened the door for Sango. Kagome gulped. "just relax Kagome, you'll be fine." Sango said putting a hand on her shoulder. Kagome nodded and walked inside. Miroku offered his arm to Sango but she refused to take it. Sango leaned over to Kagome. "all right Kagome, now you need to look for a man wearing a red rose." Kagome raised an eye brow at Sango. "why?" she asked. "because that's your date!" Sango said as if it was so obvious. "oh..." Kagome said looking down. "there he is!" Miroku said pointing to a man with long silver hair. Kagome gasped, 'that hair....they wouldn't set me up with Inuyasha would they!?' she shouted mentally. Then he turned around. "hey! Over here!" Miroku shouted across the room. "Miroku!" Sango snapped at him as heads turned to stare. "we are in a public restaurant!" she said sitting Miroku on the head. Miroku rubbed the back of his head and said "ow....it seems to me like you're the one creating a scene." Sango scowled and turned away from him. Kagome started to look through the crowd in attempt to see whoever this mystery man was. The man turned around and started to walk towards them. Kagome gasped when she saw who the figure was. " what!? S-Sesshomaru!?!" she exclaimed as she almost fainted. "Kagome....go say hi, you can do it!" Sango teased. Kagome made a small 'hmph' sound and said, "all right then I will!, that's more then I can say for you and Miroku!" she smirked in her success. "eh?" was all Sango could say as she stormed after Kagome. "oh no you don't!" Miroku said grabbing Sango's arm and pulling her towards him. "OUR table is over here!" he said leading her to a small two person table. Sango frowned, "great..." she said sarcastically. Sesshomaru raised an eye brow at Miroku and Sango then turned back to Kagome. 'Sango don't leave me!' Kagome shouted mentally '....but....Sesshomaru does look rather handsome in that suit!' she giggled at herself. Sesshomaru said nothing as he made his way over to Kagome. He stopped in front of her. Kagome felt his presents all over her. What was this feeling? It was overwhelming. She was expecting him to sweep her off her feet but all that came out of his mouth was a simple, "hello". Kagome stood there dumbstruck for a moment then snapped out of her 'trace'. "oh, uh, hello." She said offering her hand. She was expecting him to shake it, but to her surprise, he took her hand and kissed it gently. Kagome went bright pink. "shall we go to out table?" he asked turning toward another two person table. Kagome looked back at Sango. She gave Kagome a large thumbs-ups, then Miroku came by and pushed her into her seat as if to say. "c'mon! focus on me! Not her!'. Kagome giggled at Sango's 'misfortune' and followed Sesshomaru. Once the two were seated, Kagome thought she heard some familiar voices. "huh?" she said looking at the table behind where Sesshomaru was sitting. Kagome gasped as she tried to hold back tears. Sesshomaru raised an eye brow at Kagome. "is something the matter?" he asked quietly. Kagome just continued to stare. Sesshomaru turned around to see what she was staring at made a 'hmph' sound. "of all the places.....why did they have to be here?" she asked herself out loud. On the next door table, was none other then Kikyo and Inuyasha. Kikyo turned and saw Kagome staring. "oh" she said with a smirk of victory. "Inuyasha...look over there." She said coldly. Inuyasha perked up and looked over at Kagome and Seshomaru. He smirked. "well, well, wench. Was this really the best you could do?" he said looking at Sesshomaru. Kagome merely looked down. Sesshomaru turned to Kagome then back at Inuyasha. "at least i'm not seeing a slut" he said motioning to Kikyo. Kikyo scowled in disgust at him. "YOU WATCH IT!" she yelled as more heads turned to stare. Inuyasha clenched his fist and shoot out of his chair. "you take that back you bastard!" Sesshomaru stood up slowly and faced Inuyasha. "you first" he said simply, still keeping his poker face. "DAMN YOU!" Inuyasha shouted as he swung his fist at Sesshomaru. "Sesshomaru!" shouted Kagome worried. Sesshomaru caught Inuyasha fist two inches away from his face. "hmph, I didn't come all the way here to fight with my baby brother." Sesshomaru said calmly. Over at Miroku and Sango's table, they heard the argument and ran over. Kagome stared at Sesshomaru. 'wow....' She thought. 'what is this this feeling? I've never felt this way with Inuyasha...' she asked herself. "LET GO OF ME!" shouted Inuyasha as he tried to wiggle free. "GET OFF OF HIM!" shouted Kikyo as she stepped on Sesshomaru's foot with her six inch high-heels. Sesshomaru jumped back. "......ow" was all he said as he winced. "back off you skank!" shouted Kagome as she slapped Kikyo. Kikyo gasped and shouted. "HOW DARE YOU!" Kikyo shouted at kagome. "I'VE HAD ENOUGH OF YOU WENCH!" Inuyasha said he grabbed a vase in the middle of the table and bashed it over her head. Kagome let out a shriek of pain as she fell to the ground. The last thing she saw was Sango and Sesshomaru running to her side, and Sesshomaru putting his hand on her forehead before everything went black.
