CHAPTER 1: MEETINGS AND GREETINGS

“Lord Sesshomaru is that not your brothers wench?” asked Jakken. “Yes it is Jakken it is but how a weak little ningen like her made it this far I don’t know.” “My Lord don’t you think we should be goin-AAACK!” “We will go when I feel like it.” Sesshomaru said all calm, cool, and collected while holding a little weak Jakken by his throat. “Is that clear Jakken?” Sesshomaru said as he dropped Jakken. (By the way they’re on his cloud thingy) “Yes Milord, perfectly clear.” Jakken gasped as he rubbed his throat. Sesshomaru floated, watching Kagome make her way through the forest perfectly expressionless. Then as Sesshomaru watched she turned around and Sesshomaru got his first good look at her and he nearly gasped. She had long silver hair with blue streaks that went down to her knees. Her tail was exactly like her hair. She wore a silver kimono with blue crescent moons and star bursts on it. But what really captivated Sesshomaru was her face. It, like the rest of her body was milky white. She had red, red lips and extremely unusual eyes. They were green near the pupil but slowly changed into an ocean blue as it edged the end of the iris. On her forehead there was a silvery circle with blue marks (like the sun). Sesshomaru didn’t know what the mark made her but he was pretty sure it was of good pedigree. He sniffed the air and nearly fell off his cloud at what he smelled. ‘Impossible! This girl is an Inuyoukai! I must remember to ask her about that sometime. Sesshomaru was just about to fly off when, Kagome, as if sensing his gaze looked up. Seeing him she conjured her own cloud to meet him. Sesshomaru was pulling on his cold façade when Kagome came up to him. “What are you doing in my lands wench.” “Oh Fluffy, I’m sooo sooorrry,” Kagome said sweetly. To sweetly he narrowed his eyes. “Because,” she said continuing,” If I had known I would have headed straight for the border, retching all the way.” Sesshomaru growled and swiped at her. She ducked smirking but her eyes widened as she lost her footing and fell. Screaming. Loudly. Sesshomaru growled again and went to swoop her up but someone beat her to it. “Tsk, tsk, tsk my dear Sesshomaru. You really shouldn’t push lovely girls out of the air. They might get hurt.”
