An Obstacle Far Too Great Too Overcome by yo-yo

The Curse

There are many legends about the early days of Japan.

I shall tell you the first story I ever heard.

But who is to say it is true?

The story has never been written down, so we must keep the story alive, by telling it to the younger generations.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Long ago in the western lands of Japan, there lived a handsome youkai lord. And his name was Inu No Taisho; there also lived a beautiful youkai woman named Isukiya, she was the daughter of Takeshi the lord of the eastern lands of Japan. She loved Inu No Taisho, but when she started to express her feelings for him, he said, I do not care for you, and I never will so don't waste your breath.

She went away extremely mad and hurt. So in her anger se went to an old witch, and ordered her to curse the youkai lord, and threatened that if she did not do it she would kill her. The curse was that Inu No Taisho and all his descendants after him would be destined to fall hopelessly in love.
