The princess of the west

The sea was as low tide and the sun was just rising, from its slumber, everyone was still asleep, but one still lay awake in the blissfulness of her sheets.

It was kagome, she lay there thinking of one person"oh....Inuyasha, I miss you so, please come back to me" as she was in thought, she didn't notice a figure in the back that was watching her, waiting for her to arouse from her so called sleep.

"Ahhhhmy princess are you awake?" "oh why must you bug me Hitori, especially this early in the morning?" she hated Hitori, he held such lust in his eyes that she just couldn't stand to be in the same room as him" you do know what today is?"

"Yes" today is the day that she is to become the princess of the west; she was to marry one of the sons of the inuyouka tribe that rule the western lands.

She has fallen in love with one of them already and was intending to marry him...it was Inuyasha. They had meat at a party her parents had held, and since then they had never wanted to be apart.

With that said she lay her head on his chest and listened to the soft breaths of air that could be heard from were she was laying on his chest and the steady heart beat that was so comforting to hear.

"Thank you, I needed to know" she was now at peace, she had worried her self about what his answer would be, almost to the brink of insanity" Kagome" he says with the hint of pain tangled in the depths of his voice but kagome didn't notice, she to entranced in laying with him that she couldn't notice "ya what is it" ".....what ever happens you know that you'll always be the one I love, and I don't want to ever be apart" when he finished he was shocked he had never been so forth coming about where they were in there relationship in all the time that she had known him" me to I don't want to leave your side"

That was two weeks ago and since then; she had only seen him two times. She was starting to get lonely, Kagome would get a messenger to call him to go see her but ever time he couldn't he was needed at his castle, these time were very hard, the world was at war. The war dragged on for almost two years to this very day, and that was the reason she was to become a princess of the west. She was a princess of the east and both families decided to be allies and marry the two only children together so they could team up and win the war.

Today was the day they were to see each other, and today was the day there were to be married. "My lady you need to get up, your mother is calling you"

"I know, now get out, you know I hate you" she said bitterly "yes I do but I can not" he disgusts me she thought as she picked up her sword and slashed it though him" a puppets, he's a coward sending a puppet instead, I'm going to have to have a talk to mother about him" she lazily sleved her sword and put it down to got and get dressed she wore a Embroidered silk tulle with pearl beading, Velasco. After she was finished she put her hair up in a loss bun with some hair accessories with a few strains loosely dangling around her face, she looked gorgeous. That's when her sister kikyou came in" little sis are you awake"kikyou said snottily, her sister was a stuck up bitch and kagome hated her, because she always stole everything especially her boyfriends, like her ex Hojo. But this time she was not going to let her steal Inuyasha, and if she did she'd probably try to kill her but her sis's powers were a lot more refined that her own, they were goddess with powers beyond anyone's belief.

"you know sister you should really put some makeup on"errrr that just got on her nerve" well you know sis, I'm not ugly like you I don't need to put make-up on to cover my blemishes" Kagome said with hatred, she hated when kikyou did that, she was always jealous of her and she hated it" ahhhh you little bitch, I was only giving you advise so you don't look so bad, because I'm embarrassed to be around you" "now now I think Kagome should be the one so embarrassed to be around you, look at what your wearing" there mother said while walking into the room. Kikyou was wearing a black almost see through silk with small pearls sown on the rim near her cleavage and her breast were almost popping out of the dress and her rolls of fat look like there going to break the seam. "mother you can't say that about you own daughter" kikyou was shocked that her would say that, "yes I can, especially when I'm embarrassed about being around you, that dress is inappropriate, so please go change" "NO!!!!! Inuyasha bought it for me and I want him to know that I do really like the dress"when Kagome heard that last remark she thought that she was going to burst "WHAT DID YOU SAY?" "Don't have a hairy canary, he got one for you to, they were gifts for us, Sesshomaru got one for us to, and I see you like his more" Sesshomaru got one for us to, wait I'm wearing it, but I thought that he was cold and didn't care, but wait he is suppose to be marrying one of us, so if he's going to marry one of us he going to have to be affiant towards us I guess.

"Oh icic well to tell you the truth this dress is more appropriate to be wearing, I never thought Sesshomaru had such good taste" "ohh sounds like you like Sesshomaru" "what are you talking about, all I said was that he had good taste, god you idiot" with that Kagome left, she started to walk do the hall of her castle. 'god I hate her she so annoying and won't ever shut up, she's so full of her self and I hate it, because she's not very pretty' As Kagome walked down the hall she didn't notice someone in front of her and ran into a very firm and well built chest, looking up she saw Sesshomaru looking down on her with those cold gold orbs of hi, while holding her from falling down with, with a stern but cold voice he says" you should be more aware of you surroundings and pay more attention to were your going" with that said he turns and walks away, but before he walks totally away he stops and turns his head a 90 degree angle and says "I like your choice in clothing, unlike your sister she, doesn't know how to dress, good day miss "he said it so fast and cold that he left a flashed faced Kagome standing with a shocked expression. 'He really is beautiful; if he wasn't so cold, and if I didn't love Inuyasha I would marry him'.
