The energy ball flew towards him so fast that he did not have a moment or even a second to escape.

As the ball and wave of energy flew to its designated point, a woman-child screamed in pain as the rest of the demons decided that at that moment they would kill the human-priestess. Soon though, they had their prey caught in their jaws as they lifted her small fragile body in the air.

An excruciating roar of pain fell from her lips, which sounded so alien even from her own human lips. Soon though the sound died out and that all that was left was a destroyed field. A grayish-black spot was where Naraku died and the spot were a horde of demons surrounded the field a body laid immobile.

The scene would have been magical with all the demons swooping down near her crushed body if you dismissed the fact that the woman was long dead. The demons now saw something strange happen towards the body of the woman that they had just crushed their jaws into.

A bizarre red-black light engulfed the body of the woman-child. The light was so bright that no one could look inside the now spherical sphere of raw, untamed power. Just as fast as it started it ended. As the light vanished a new creature was born of the ashes of the once alive miko. The demons moved out of the way.

The now very alive priestess held out her hand and almost as if in an impulse the demons around her wrapped their bodies around her arm. A brilliant light shown through the disemboweled innards and ashes of the once terror bringing Naraku, the young woman now curious as to what caused this strange light, walked slowly towards the bright light.

As soon as she reached the part of where the light shown through, she reached out in the most elegantly way possible, and took out a jewel. Some how she knew that she had to protect such a powerful and priceless item, 'cause she knew that only she would be able to find peace in this horrible nightmare with the power of the jewel and not to mention she was it's guardian.

The figure soon turned around...
