Hey, this is my first chap. It is REALLY short, but i just wanted to give you a little taste.

It's could be easy to say we were put together by destiny, but then again can force evolve into destiny, or is destiny just a figment of your imagination. Listen to my story and decide for yourself.

"What!"

"Kagome settle down. I know this is hard to take in all at once, but just let it sink in for a moment."

"What do you mean let it sink in? I can't even believe you would do this to me! I thought I could trust you, but obviously I was totally wrong!"

"Kagome this has been decided since you were born. We cannot change it now."

I sat down next to my mom and took a minute to rethink what I had just been told, but I came up with the same question as before. Why?

"Mom, I'm sorry. I just... an arranged marriage?"

My mom took my hand into her lap.

"Honey. I know. If I could change it now I would, but there's nothing I can do."

"What about Inuyasha?"

"You must talk to him as soon as possible."

**********************Sesshomaru*************************

Kagome Higarashi, soon to be my wife. At school, she seemed to be nice. She was quite beautiful to many, or at least my brother, with her chocolate-glazed eyes, gorgeous ebony hair, and a very slim body. There seemed to be no flaws within her, but I could see through her porcelain mask of pretend. Figures my father would set me up with a pathetic human. I definitely have a problem with it, and my brother might have one too, especially since him and her have been dating for two years. Either way, there's no way getting out of it.

"Lord Sesshomaru! Lord Sesshomaru!"

'Why does he call me Lord Sesshomaru? Can't he just say Mr. or something normal? He's such a strange little kid.'

"Jaken, what do you want?"

"Lord Sesshomaru, do you need anything? Because I would do anything for you!!"

'Why don't you go drown yourself in a river?' I thought.

"No Jaken. For the last time, can you just leave me be? Oh, and please, stop calling me Lord Sesshomaru."

"Yes, Lo- I mean Mr.Sesshomaru"

I watched as Jaken scampered away unhappily. I turned my back to his direction and walked to my car. I got in and put the key in its ignition as I thought to myself how this was going to work. I, Sesshomaru Taisho, didn't want to be known as the husband of a human wench.

As I drove down her neighborhood street, I started to fill myself with questions concerning why I wasn't overly upset about this ordeal. As my father, I would become one of Japan's most admired icons and yet I would be mating a mere human than another powerful human. This bothered me, but did not enrage me at all. When I pulled into her driveway, I caught a glimpse of her through her bedroom window. I was supposed to be picking her up and taking her back to my house, where our parents already were waiting. We were going to discuss our housing arrangements, as well as our wedding. Oh joy.

I got out of my car, went up to her door, and knocked. From the outside, I could hear a scrambling of feet.

"Be there in a second!" She said to me hastily. She opened her door and walked out. "Hi, I'm Kagome Higarashi!" She held out her hand and waited for me to take it.

"Come, we should not be late." I said as I turned my back to her and led her to my car. I could sense her rising annoyance with me. She was stubborn as well. I realized right there that this was going to be an interesting ride home.
