Kidnapped

Chapter 1

He had masked his scent very carefully. He didn't want to be noticed by his idiot half-brother, InuYasha, or his whore-what was her name again? 'O yes, Kagome.' The TaiYoukai thought. 'This SesshoMaru won't let them ever suspect me.' He carefully circled upwind of the group to further escape detection.

Meanwhile, at InuYasha's group:

Kagome was alert, She didn't know why, but she thought something was wrong with the surroundings.

"What's wrong Kagome-chan?" Sango asked worriedly.

"Nothing." Kagome lied.

"C'mon. I know you better than that." Sango persisted.

"Nothing" Kagome stressed the word just enough to arouse suspicion.

"Come on Kagome! I'll give you a prize for telling the truth." Miroku teased at her.

"And just what would that 'prize' be, as if I didn't know?" Kagome asked, eying Miroku carefully.

"You'll see"

"Tsk. Fine. I sense something. It could be dangerous, but I don't know for sure," Kagome said, choosing her words carefully.

"I think I know what the prize is Kagome. You won't like it." Sango Said.

"Miroku, give me that prize and you're dead meat." Kagome warned him.

"I don't know what you're talking about." He leaned back on his palms, his fingers inching closer to the taijiya's rear on the right of him unnoticed,

Kagome Stared at his face from across the fire, one hand absently stroking Shippo's tail that was draped across her knee, the small fox youkai cuddled into her crossed legs. His face was getting hot from the fire, so Kagome turned him to face her. Shippo snuggled into her stomach, curling up with his tail still over her knee. Kagome smiled down affectionately at him.

All of a sudden, a scream of "HENTAI!!!" came from the other side of the fire, followed by a thud and a sickening crunch. Kagome whipped her head up to see a near unconscious monk on the forest floor with and angry Sango standing on his back, knees still tense from the impact. Then a muffled sound came from the body under her feet. Sango walked off of him, making sure to step on his head in the process before she returned to her seat by the orange flames.

"OW! Geez! I'm a frail monk! Lay Off!!" Miroku said, his prayer beads rattling.

"Miroku," Kagome said, "You are far from frail. If you were frail, you'd be dead 10 times over from Sango and I alone." Kagome yawned. "And since I don't have the patience to wait for InuYasha, I'm going to sleep. G'night."

"Good Night." Sango and Miroku said, the latter rubbing the sore spot on the back of his head where Sango walked on it.

All the while, SesshoMaru had been inching and was now just outside the human's range of sight from the fire. After a few minutes, the taijiya and the monk lay down, InuYasha was still not back. SesshoMaru took his chance when he their breaths even and slow down. He crept up to the young sleeping Miko. He looked her over, (just her shape because she was still in the sleeping bag) grabbed the yellow bag she always carried-he thought she would want it-and carefully pulled her into his arms so as not to wake her. He formed his could beneath his feet and flew toward his home, the bright stars winking at him.

A/N: Wat u think?? This is my first Kag/Sess fic so don't mind if it sux...Oh! Also, I'll clear up the arms thing later! It'll all fall into place! (I hope! ^_^) R/R plz!! Flames r welcome!!
